Today's poetic form is the Bengali "Tripadi". It consists of tercets (3-line stanzas), one or several, line 1 and 2 rhyme with each other and have 8 syllables, line 3 has 10 syllables.

The loveliest of melodies
my maladies it remedies
the voice of someone I have not yet met.
Glimpses of an image winsome
in countless of dreams and then some
the face of someone I have not yet met.
A different strain of feelings
to past notions gives new meanings
the love of someone I have not yet met.
