Today's poetic form is the "Nonet". The poem is comprised of 9 lines, the first line has 9 syllables, the second has 8, and so on, until the final line which has 1.

wish I could say what they do to me
the strums of flamenco guitar
lend voice to muffled moments
silenced deep within me
and I wonder why
did I mute them?
off-tune cheer
