assigning meaning to passing moments
in hopes of confirming a forgotten sign, witnessed by hopeful eyes
a lifetime ago.
the repetitive song of a blue bird or a sun ray piercing through a dark cloud in the break of dawn.
such mundane things transformed into life-changing events lasting mere seconds and yet translated as divine intervention by the forlorn.
does life get better after it or is it just the placebo?
