Today's poetic form is the Kimo which is the Hebrew version of a haiku. It consists of 3 lines, 10 syllables in the first line, 7 in the second, and 6 in the third line. It also doesn't include rhymes.

my second spring in this gilded cage
as the rose blooms before me

Tbh, I don't really prefer writing short poems because while I'm usually concise, I just feel like I'm not putting in enough effort. Obviously, I have not "mastered" the art of poetry yet, so I can't write something profound in just a few words hence why I don't prefer that genre.
