"So... Where have you two been for the last 2 week?"
Currently, Alice, Jasper, Dorothea, and Edward decided to join Bella and her friends during lunch. Jasper didn't want to but since Rose, Emmet, and Dean took the day off school to go hunting, he had left no choice but to join the humans.
It was awkward at first, especially with how everyone, mostly Mike kept staring at Dorothea who sat on Jasper's lap due to the lack of a seat there.
In moments like this Bella and the Cullen siblings, noted just how popular Dorothea is with humans, she could easily converse with them and blend while with their culture and ways to avoid suspicion. She was able to make a smile grow on them, effortlessly.
Mike was the one who asked the question, and aim for the couple since Jasper and Dorothea took a few weeks away from reality at their new house. "Oh, I wasn't feeling it, so Jasper took care of me."
Dorothea didn't see but Jasper had a smirk as memories of their weeks as a married couple goes through his mind, Edward groaned loudly before throwing his plastic fork at his brother who easily caught it.
"I decided to throw a party!" Alice spoke up the minute after the small conflict beside Bella. Dorothea just listens carefully while chewing slowly on a salad with Jasper hugging tightly onto her stomach before leaning her back against his chest so he could shower her with kisses.
The mortal girls on the table watch in jealousy and envy at how in love the couple is, and just how devoted Jasper was to her. "After all how many times are we going to graduate high school?" Jasper says, with a smirk while Dorothea laughs at the comment while the mortal was confused. Clearly, Jasper was in a good mood today, with all this joking and smirking, even in front of other mortals.
"A party at your place?!" / "I've never seen your house, no one has maybe except Bella." Angela and Jessica spoke up in shock, eyeing Dorothea if what Alice said was accurate, to which the vampire just nod.
"Another party Alice?" Edward had asked and say in a manner like 'really?', Dorothea frowned at this so she threw a tomato at his head, everyone watched amusingly as the tomato slid down's Edward annoyed face. Dorothea spoke. "Boohoo, don't be a party popper, Eddy."
"Yeah! It will be fun!"
"That's what you said last time." Dorothea had scoffed at Bella making her throw another tomato but this time aimed at the mortal. "Ouch." Edward had glared warningly at his sister but Dorothea just gave an innocent look with puppy's eyes while Jasper smirked at Dorothea's childish action.
Suddenly Alice looks dazed, she was having another vision so Bella distracted her friends while Dorothea tried to make the job harder just to mess around with the mortal.
When Alice had finally come back to reality, she had a worried and scared look as she held tightly to Dorothea's hand asking for comfort, which the small vampire gave gladly by softly telling her, "Everything is going to be fine."
