"Arise, Sir Vidor, knight of Camelot," Uther declares as he touches the flat side of his sword to each of the kneeling man's shoulders. He then moves on to the next man. "Arise, Sir Caddadod, knight of Camelot." Uther does the same thing with his sword before pulling it back and the knights rise to their feet as one.
We were all gathered in the throne room for the knighting ceremony tonight. I stand next to Morgana as Eric and Arthur stand on our right.
Uther states as he steps to his right, "You've been accorded a great honour. With that honour, comes great responsibility. From this day forth, you are sworn to live by the Knight's Code. You've pledged to conduct yourselves with nobility, honour and respect. Your word is your sacred bond. You'll find no one better embodies these values than my son, Arthur." Here, the king places a hand on Arthur's shoulder before turning back to the newly made knights. "Follow his example, and you will prove yourselves worthy of your title."
