Ashley's POV

"Push epi"

"Ashley, can you hear us?" I struggle to open my eyes.

I see a light shinning in my face as someone lifts my eyelids open.

"Do you know where you are?" The woman over me asks.

"Her pressure is low" The man says.

I try to keep my eyes open but fail.

"Try to stay with us" Was the last thing I heard before closing my eyes.

Alexis's POV

I run down into the hospital panicking and unable to think straight.

"I'm looking for Ashley Ross, she was brought in not too long" I quickly say to the woman at the desk.

"Are you family?" She asks me.

"Yes I'm her sister" I say.

"She was brought in unconscious and unresponsive and was rushed to the operating room"

"What do you mean ?" My mother asks.

She was suddenly worried about Ashley's well being after treating her like trash. Most likely because if anything was to happen she couldn't live with herself.

"Her mother said there was a fire but thankfully they got her out in time"

"I am her mother" My mother basically shouts.

The woman at the desk doesn't say anything and I roll my eyes at my mother's main focus right now while her daughter is in critical condition.

After a brief moment we rush to the room where she was.

"Alexis"  I turn to see Joanne.

"What happened?" I ask.

"There was a fire" She says but I know it was a lie.

I look around the waiting room and see Stacy, baby Hannah, and Asher.

"Where is my sister?" I ask.

"She's still in surgery" She says"

"Joanne" My mothers said distastefully.

"Alice" Joanne glared.

"Where is Phoenix? Shouldn't he be here?" My mother asks.

"Why don't you worry about your own life Alice" Joanne says.
"What-"

"Can we just wait for Ashley" I interrupt.

Hours had passed before a doctor finally came to see us.

"Ashley is out of surgery but will not be awake for hours. You can all see her now"

I was the first one on my feet and walking behind the doctor.

I prayed that she will be okay because I can't lose her. I don't know what I'll do without her.

I walk into the room and my heart falls as I see her hooked up to a machine with tubes in her arms and in her nose. She looked horrible. She had bruises and burns on her arms, neck and face.

"Will she wake up?" Joanne asks the doctor.

"It's hopeful. We have to keep a close eye on her. Right now she's breathing on her own but she's in a very critical state"

"Please wake up Ashley" I say as I sit beside her.

"What's wrong with her?" Joanne asks.

"And who might you be?" The doctor asks.
