One was wearing a red gas mask and stood straight and tough-looking in front of the rest. Does he expect me to feel intimidated by him, are these his minions or something, I thought to myself. I let out a small laugh before coughing to cover it up. The teenager with the red mask pulled me out of my thoughts and said, "So are ya just gonna sit there and stare, or are ya gonna tell us who you are and what you're doing here?" I glared at him before standing up, and going to pick up my gun, mocking his tone I said, "I don't need to tell ya shit, now if ya don't mind I must be on my way" and started walking away.

But just before I could get back into my car I felt a sting in my left hand. The guy with the red mask had grabbed my hand and turned me back around to face him. He tightened his grip on my hand and I yelped from the pain "argh asshole!" and elbowed him in the stomach. He quickly let go and rubbed his stomach with pain. He glared at me then looked down at my hand dripping with blood. Then he wiped his own hand that was stained with blood and said, "Look I've never seen you around here it's suspicious, I just need to know who you are and where your heading, we just saved your life we deserve to know."

I sighed and said "Well I didn't ask you to save me now did I" yes I know I shouldn't be so stubborn with people who just saved my life but I can't let my guard down just yet. "Okay maybe if you introduce yourself like a normal person I'll tell you what you need to know," I said with some sass in my tone. He looked back to his minions then back to me and said, "Fine, I'm Gally, I used to be under wckd's control, till Lawrence and his men took me out, that good enough for you?" adding a little sass at the end.

'He knows Lawrence and was under wckds control' I thought in my head 'yeah now I know I can trust this guy' I nodded and said "Well Gally, I'm Y/n I'm here in place of my dad. He used to go to Lawrence to trade things for supplies, my family has known him for as long as I've been walking. oh and your luck he took you out wckds still out for me."

Gally looked at me with a smirk and said "So you're the Y/n that Lawrence talks about, well we're on the same side here so how about we take you to him right now." I playfully rolled my eyes and said, "It would be easier that way my car's almost out of fuel but I can't just leave it here it's my family's only car." Gally looked at his minions and nodded towards my car. His minions quickly took out a hook from their car and attached it to mines."Well, don't just stand there get in it's getting late."

I got into the car and sat next to Gally a couple of minutes passed and Gally and I had a conversation about our lives and the shitty world we live in now. After a few minutes of silence I nudged his shoulder and he responded with a hum so I could go on "You know Gally you're not as bad as I thought you'd be, I think we could be good friends" He then playfully nudged my shoulder and said "Yeah I second that, I guess you're not too bad either" and we both laughed. "We're here come on I'll lead you to Lawrence." He said before turning back around, "Oh and did ya know about what happened to him?"

I gave him a sad smile and said "Yeah I found out last time dad came back home he told me about what happened and how he's staying alive, don't worry I can handle it I've seen lots of pre- cranks before." He nodded and walked downstairs towards a room. I glanced around the room I remembered visiting this room before. It had a small garden with flowers here and there, then stood Lawrence connected to an IV pole with a bag full of blue liquid holding a rose in hand.

Gally glanced at me then looked back at Lawrence and said, "Hey Lawrence we're back and you've got a visitor." Lawrence turned to Gally then turned to look at me in awe and said, "Ah, little Y/n, I was wondering when you'd come visit, it's been a long time hasn't it, and look you're all grown up I remember just yesterday you were 6 years old running around my front yard with you brother and cousin right behind you." I smiled at the memory being brought back to me 'gosh I miss that', Lawrence watched me grow he's like my uncle or even like a second father figure.

I walked over to Lawrence and was about to hug him when he put his hand in front of me and said, "Y/n are you sure you'd want to hug me aren't you afraid of me?" I looked at him with a small smile and said, "Lawrence, I could never be afraid of you, you're family and I will do everything possible to help get you a cure." He smiled proudly and hugged me 'oh how I missed his hugs'.

He pulled out of the hug and said,
"Y/n/n it's getting pretty late did your dad tell you about his old room? You should stay the night, I'll get you your supplies ready for tomorrow morning and have you on your way, is that okay?" I nodded, "Yeah dad told me about his old room and I'd be happy to stay." He smiled and looked behind me, "You two getting along?" I looked at Gally then back at Lawrence, "Yeah I think we're going to be great friends." Lawrence smirked, "Yes, I knew you would he reminded me of you, you know you two are similar and stubborn."

I looked back and smirked at Gally, "Oh yeah I've noticed" and we started laughing. Lawrence looks at us and says, "Okay now go upstairs hang out, get to know each other, go to bed, or whatever you teenagers like to do, don't stay up too late...oh and Gally I trust that you keep an eye on her make sure no one tries anything on her" Gally nods and starts walking out telling me to follow him. Before I walk out I thank him for everything and as I thanked him he handed me a rose.
