"i'm home," you announced as you walked into your apartment. then, you head a familiar laugh and a familiar bark. "chenle?" you called out and slipped your shoes off.

as you walked inside, you saw a familiar puppy run up to you.

"why hello sweetie," you crouched down and picked up daegal, who was extremely excited to see you. "did you have a good day?" you asked and daegal tried to climb all over you.

you walked into the living room and saw chenle sitting on the couch. he was looking back at you with an arm on top of the couch, "hey y/n."

"hi, babe," you kissed him and sat down next to him, "i see you brought a guest over."

"it's been awhile since you've seen her, so i thought it'd be nice," chenle said as daegal crawled into his arms. "did you have a good day at work?"

you shrugged your shoulders, "it was alright. i had to work overtime as you could probably tell."

"yea, you worked really late today," he said and put a strand of your hair behind your ear. "did you eat dinner?"

you nodded, "yea, at the office," you mentioned. "i'm going to take a shower."

"can i join you?" you glared at him once he spoke. "okay, okay, stop glaring at me. you're scaring me."

you stood up, "good."

you left the living room and went into the bathroom. you turned the shower on and went into the room to grab some clothes. then you went back into the bathroom and hopped in the shower.

"daegal, come back here!" you heard chenle as you washed your hair.

you quickly finished showering and turned the shower off. you stepped out of the shower and dried yourself off before putting a pair of shorts and t-shirt on. you dried your hair off with the towel and threw it in the hamper before getting ready for bed.

as you brushed your teeth, you left the bathroom and saw chenle on the couch still. "do you have to go to work early tomorrow?" you asked him.

he looked over at you and nodded, "yea. what about you?" he asked.

"i have the day off tomorrow," you mentioned. "i'll make breakfast in the morning. make sure to wake me up," you said and went back into the bathroom.

once you were done getting ready for bed, you left the bathroom and saw the lights off in the living room and kitchen. you went to your room and saw chenle laying in your bed with daegal in his lap. you got into bed and got under the covers while daegal climbed onto chenle's chest.

"goodnight babe," chenle said and turned the lamp off.

"goodnight daegal."

"hey, what about me?"

"i hope you have nightmares."
