I figured I had enough time to take a shower so I would look presentable.

I grabbed my proxy uniform and a towel before heading to the bathroom that was connected to my room.

I let the warm water run before I started to lift off my hoodie. My eyes immediately went through the reflection of the mirror only to see my clear neck. No sign of bruises was shown. I fully took off my hoodie only to be surprised to see two healed scars. With my pointer finger, I traced the two light scars on my stomach while remembering what had happened yesterday. Zalgo's battle, that guy healing my wounds.

I widen my eyes more when I remembered he had been the one that brought me home and was aware of which room I slept in.

I needed answers but I wasn't sure if Slenderman had them. Either way, I had to alert Slenderman about an intruder knowing our place. If the stranger had bad intentions, he could have let me die, yet he chose to heal me. Something was definitely off.

It took me 20 minutes to shower and get dressed up which meant I was already five minutes late for breakfast. I took my towel off my head before my gaze landed on a letter placed on my nightstand on the right side of my bed.

I placed my towel on my bed before look walking up towards it. My black backpack was placed near my nightstand as well. The guy must have gotten it before he teleported us to the cave. I loudly sighed as it felt too much to take in. Everything happened so quickly that I still had to process everything that just happened. I gulped before unfolding the letter. I wasn't sure what it could contain.

Dear Y/N,

I hope this letter reaches only you, for it would be a shame if someone else read it.

I'm well aware you'll have questions about what happened, and most importantly, about me. I will be the one answering them when the time is right however, I need to make this perfectly clear. My presence cannot be known by anyone especially Slenderman. I ask you to keep this a secret between us because, in a way, my life depends on it. I saved your life so you might as well save mine, right? Hopefully, we'll meet again but in better circumstances.

I turned the paper around to see if he left a name or initial but the paper was blank. I sighed before hiding the paper underneath my pillow.

I made my way to the door but I was lost in my thoughts. I lost my battle with Zalgo that nearly cost me my life, but that guy came and saved me. He had teleportation and healing powers so he wasn't human. I missed out a day by sleeping while healing so I technically arrived a day late from my mission. He knew about Slenderman and his mansion including my room and then left me a note begging me not to tell anyone.

As I opened my door, my eyes immediately landed on Sally's door. The realization hit me when I realized I had broken Sally's promise. She also had nightmares before I left which worried me if no one had comforted her during my absence.

I sighed as I gently closed my door behind me before making my way to the dining room. I was going downstairs as I debated the two choices I had.

I could either inform Slenderman about the whole experience which does explain my late arrival or I could make up an excuse and keep that guy's presence a secret. There wasn't a doubt I could get away with it because I was trained to block my thoughts away from Slenderman. But again, I've been loyal to him for years so the thought of lying to him felt wrong.

I let out a heavy sigh before opening the dining room table. The pastas turned around to look at me with a few of them dropping their utensils. The tension in the air was thick. We stared at each other for what felt like forever before Sally broke the silence.
