Chapter 7

Lauren's pov

I was walking to class when austin pushes me into the lockers, I groan from the impacted and Shawn grabs my bag tipping everything out, he grabs the money that came out and put it in his pocket.

"Thanks for the $20, it was very nice of you" he said, I frown

"I-I need that for lunch" I whisper, he laughs

"So do I!" He said, I look away as he laughed

"You're so pathetic look at you, too scared to stand up for yourself, you're just letting this happen this is your fault!" Austin said, I just keep looking away.

"Hey! What the fuck! Get off of her!" I hear, I look to see camila she rushed over and Shawn let go of me.

"We were just having a chat" Shawn said, Austin nods

"Yeh, a real nice chat" he said, camila shook her head

"Leave now, both of you leave her alone" she said, they laugh and walked away.

"Are you okay?" She asked, I nod and pick my stuff up and she helped

"Let's go tell a teacher, get them both detention or something" Camila said, i shook my head

"No, that will just make things worse" I mumble, she frowns

"Lauren, if you tell someone the teachers could help" Camila said, i shook my head

"Don't, please just leave it be it'll just make thing worse!" I say, camila frowns but nods

"Okay, it's your call I'm just trying to help" she said passing me the stuff she picked up, I look at her taking my things off her.

"And thank you, I Appreciate it but I'm telling you it'll just make things worse" I say, I get up and she does as well.

"I've got class, thank you" I say, she nods with a sad look on her face and I walk away.

At lunch I saw camila with her friends, she came over when she saw me and smiles lightly.

"Hey, the others and I are going to get lunch off sight again, you want to come?" She asked, i shook my head.

"No thank you, I just want to read" I say, she nods

"You sure?" She asked, i nodded

"Okay" she walked closer "have you had anymore trouble after this morning?" She asked quietly, i shook my head.

"No and thank you for helping again" I say, she nods

"Of course, if you have trouble with them again you know you can talk to me, I promise I won't do anything you don't want me too, it might just be nice to talk to someone about this" she said, I nod.

"Thanks, I'm going to go read now" I say, she nods and we said our goodbyes and I left to go to the library.

I didn't see camila for the rest of the day nor Shawn and Austin, it was nice that camila said I could talk to her about it and that she helped me, she's really nice and a good friend.
