"It crawled away," she muttered as she kept her gaze towards her pink wall. She wondered how was Zalgo able to escape.

Splendor turned around to follow her gaze but saw nothing. He knew something was off.

Offender and Trender soon arrived at her room to check up on her, only to be relieved when they saw their brother already comforting her.

"Is the kid alright?" Offender asked with concern in his voice. He sat on the edge of her bed with Trender next to him. Splendor sat next to her.

"Y/N you know you can trust us," he assured her as he laid a hand on her shoulder.

She was about to tell them, but the thought of Zalgo listening to the conversation scared her. She had to be strong to protect them.

"I know. I told you I saw a spider." She repeated.

"Are you sure it was a spider? If I do recall you don't have a fear of spiders." Trender pointed out.

"I swear it was but it crawled away," She insisted.

The Slender brothers stood with her for a few seconds before standing up.

Splendor sighed. "We'll leave you alone then. Feel free to call us in case something is up." He placed a gentle kiss on her forehead before teleporting away.

Trender hugged her before making his way to his room, leaving Offender with Y/N.

"You sure you're alright, kid?" He asked again. He didn't want to force her into telling him something she didn't feel comfortable with, but he needed to make sure she could trust him.

She nodded. He studied her for a few seconds before hugging her and kissing her forehead.

"You know I tend to be rude towards my brothers but you're an exception Y/N." He whispered as he looked at the wall she had stared at. He slowly looked down to see her watery eyes.

"I just had a nightmare that's all," she whispered. She didn't mention Zalgo, therefore she hoped it would have been fine with him.

"Want to talk about it?" He asked.

She shook her head. "I can't remember, I just woke up crying. I didn't mean to yell and wake you guys up."

He wiped her tears with his fingers. "Y/N you don't bother us because we love you. I don't care if I have to wake up every hour just to comfort you, it's worth it. Just remember we love you."

She wrapped her arms around him. She was reminded that they would do anything for her and her on the other hand, would have to keep them safe, even if it meant suffering from a nightmare every single night.

"I'll leave you alone to sleep. I know you aren't able to whenever there's a presence around you," he chuckled before ruffling her hair.

She smiled as she laid on her back as he put her bed sheet on her.

"I love you Y/N," he whispered before walking away to turn off the lights and gently shutting the door.
