With all the happenings on the Capital, on the battlefields of Scharen and the impending coup on the Empire. Many Cardonian researchers and volunteers have recently swarmed Archesia. The amount of "new" spieces of flora and fauna were a treasure trove for the researchers and scientists. Volunteers on the other hand especially those sponsored by the Cardonian Red Cross have been travelling all around the countryside providing medical programs.

As part of the agreement with Archesia, Cardonia is obligated to improve the country through tech transfer and training. Spearheaded by Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Fisheries, volunteers and social workers have been continuously conducting many different training.

On the agriculture side, the introduction of cross planting and more effective fertilizers were the key areas being developed. Many infrastructure programs are already being studied or started, this ranges from wind and water powered mills, creation of a systematic irrigation systems and new dikes to support it. The Ministry of Fisheries are also introducing new techniques and basic core technologies to increase production and catch. A certain lake is being studied for the possible establishment of a large fish farm.

On the mining and quarrying sector, pumps and conveyor belts are also being introduced, severely increasing production values up to tenfolds based on studies. A new complex road network connecting Cardonia to Archesia are also being studied and surveyed. The railway is also being rushed, the tracks connecting to Spain and France were cut off ever since the Great Migration and these very same tracks would connect Cardonia to Archesia.

The whole of Archesia is being accelerated at top speed. The amount of investments the Cardonians were pouring to them were astounding. As it is, Cardonia wouldn't survive on it's own on the long term because of the ratio of the population compared to it's land mass. As such they need the spacious Archesian plains to provide their basic needs and luxuries.

For the Archesian peasants, they are a blessing from the Goddesses. For the local lords, a pain in the ass.

Also part of a later agreement, deployment of Cardonian troops to Archesia are being controlled. This issue was raised by the local lords as battalion of Cardonian soldiers would marching around the countryside were a big concern as they might impede the country's sovereignty. To answer that, Cardonia is deploying paramilitary forces which is made up primarily of reserves who have lost their original jobs as such they need a way to make a living.

They are lightly armed and equipped and most of the time they are done in regular civilian clothing, like a shirt and jeans. These paramilitary forces also made noise on the Cardonian parliament for the revival of the long gone Cardonian Civil Guards or the Gendarmerie.

So as not to upset the political structure of Archesia, instead of completely abolishing slavery, the Cardonians were pushing them instead to implement slave rights and protection. The Archesian Royal Court and some of the powerful houses easily agreed as important tech transfers and supports are on the line, however not all lords are happy with these new "guidelines".
