Just as they finished up their pizza, Steve got a call, asking for him to head over to the conference room immediately. This time he was supposed to bring Lorna, but she had to wait outside while they hammered out the details.
The pair of them walked in silence down the hallway until they arrived outside of the massive double doors and Steve sighed heavily.
"I'll try to be quick." He assured her and Lorna nodded her head, keeping her eyes downcast, then they both turned to look down the hall as they heard footsteps quickly approaching.
Natasha was jogging down the hall towards them, "Hey." She said as she stopped to stand beside them. "I'm here to keep Lorna company until you get back." She said and smiled at Lorna, who looked nervously up at Steve.
"You're sure you won't be long, right?" She asked and twisted her fingers.
"I promise." He said and smile reassuringly.
"Don't worry honey." Nat chimed in again, "We'll stay right here and wait for him." She said before giving Steve a nod, then a wink.
Steve rolled his eyes before heading in to the conference room.

Nearly two hours later, Steve walked out of the room, rubbing the back of his neck to try and relieve some of the tension there.
"Steve!" Lorna called from a little ways down the hall as she ran over to him.
"Hi, sorry I took so long." He apologized, but Lorna just waved him off, a huge smile plastered on her face.
"That's okay." She shrugged, "It gave Natasha and I lots of time to practice." She said as Nat came up behind her with her signature smirk.
"Practice what?" he asked and Lorna spun around excitedly.
"Braiding!" She cheered, revealing a long, beautiful braid in her snow white hair.

Then she spun back around, beaming with pride and Steve couldn't help but smile too, "You did each other's hair?" He asked, giving Nat an amused look and she stuck her tongue out at him.
"Yeah, it was so fun." Hana cheered, "Show him your's!" Hana bobbed up and down on her heels as she waited for Nat to spin around.
