"Why are they after you?" Matt yelled as he blocked the blow of another hand member, before grabbing his collar and tossing him out of the parking garage, down to the pavement several stories bellow.

"I knew you were going to do something stupid at the banquet tonight, so I decided to get ahead of the problem." She shrugged, swinging the tire iron in her hand and sweeping a hand member's feet out from under them as they prepared to charge Matt.

"By pissing off Fisk? That's a terrible plan!" He shouted as he knocked out the man she had just laid out for him.

She raised her finger to him and shook her head, "First of all, I didn't piss off Fisk, I pissed off Vanessa. And second, my plan is awesome, you just don't know all of it yet." She shot back grumpily as Matt cocked his head to the side, hearing more assailants coming their way.

"Well, now would be a great time to share." He sighed, ducking behind a car beside them, and popping out just as another masked hand member came passed it. He made quick work of knocking them unconscious, then hurled their body at their teammates.

"I don't want to tell you. You'll get mad." She said quietly. And Matthew spun around marching back over to her while they had a moment to themselves.

"I am way passed mad!" He said furiously and placed his hands on his hips, hearing her pulse quicken. "With me stuck here, Fisk will escape again!" He shouted and threw his hands up in frustration.

He heard her flinch and her heart skip a beat at his sudden movement. He lowered his hands immediately and noticed her heart beat steadying.

"Jenny, you know I'd never hurt you right?" He spoke as softly as he could as he took half a step towards her.

"No, I know that." She nodded and crossed her arms over her chest, looking down. "That's why I knew you'd come." She said and Matthew cocked his head, waiting for her to explain. "I went to Vanessa's gallery and told her that you were coming for Fisk at the banquet. I figured she'd have me followed and probably kidnapped or something to distract you." She said.

Matt had to take a deep breath in order to keep himself calm. "Why did you think this was a good plan?" He sighed and ran a hand over his masked face.

"Because, with all of Fisk's men here, it would leave Wilson himself wide open." She said and Matt knew she was holding something back, "Granted the hand showing up as well was unexpected, but I think you're doing great so far." She praised in the hopes of easing his anger.

"Fisk being exposed doesn't help me if I'm tied up here all night." He pointed out and she nodded.

"True, very true. Which is why I called Frank." She said the last part under her breath and saw the flash of anger pass over Matt's expression again.

"Castle?" He clarified, hoping by some chance it was a different Frank.

"That's the one, yes." She nodded and brought her hands up under her chin as she chewed her lip nervously.

"He's a chaotic, cold blooded murderer!" Matt raised his voice again and heard her breath catch in her throat as she winced, trying not to flinch when he shouted at her. He forced himself to calm down, "Sorry." He sighed.

"It's okay." She took a deep breath and forced her body to relax, "I knew you wouldn't like the idea, which is also why I knew it would work, because Vanessa knew you'd come for me, and Fisk knows you would never call Frank. It'll be a perfect surprise." She said.

"That's true enough." Matt shrugged then cocked his head to the left.

"What is it?" She whispered, but he held his finger up to his lips, hushing her.
