Adam's Note

"Jesus! Can you knock?!" Bono shouted as he was trying to stand still, naked with a young lady by his side

"Sorry darling, I haven't seen anything... Well, yeah. But nothing that I haven't seen before. Can you leave us alone beauty?" Adam said looking at the girl as Bono's face froze at Adam's request to the lady

"Are you serious? I can't even decide when to stop fucking now?" said confused smelling of alcohol and with his pupils dilated

"Have you seen yourself this year? And mostly these past 3 months?" Adam said as he pulled Bono from his arm and took him in front of the bedroom's mirror. "Look at you! You're getting drunk every day, taking loads of pills, fucking everyone, you're lost, you're not you. I've experience that before, and you know how it ended. Edge, Larry, you and Ali save me from falling. I will always be grateful for that and I won't let you go through the same shit I've been. Since Ali passed you been acting auto destructively. Then Sun came in and you were Bono once again. But man look at you now.... You are lonely, you feel empty, I know those feelings. Drugs, alcohol, parties, girls, sex, that wont fill you. But you have us, your friends and you have her. So get your shit together cause you have someone that almost die and passed the worst days of her life alone not to hurt you, so if you don't get her back, I will" Adam said looking at him right at his blue eyes

Bono just reminded silent, looking at himself standing in the mirror. It was a big punch. A wake-up call. And he knew Adam was right. In everything. His eyes were shiny, but he felt so empty inside, he couldn't even cry.

"I know it's hard. Trust me I felt that before. But you have everything to go through mate. You are lost and you know why. You find yourself in music and in her. I've seen the way you both look at each other. I just wish someone looks at me that way or to look at someone that way. You know I don't want to talk about that time in my life, but now I see you and I see me at that time. I was lost and didn't know why, you do. I was lost and didn't have someone, apart from you guys, to share my shit with, but you do. You have everything to get out, the only thing that is missing is your will to do it. So, get the fuck up, take your shit out and move on" Adam said this last sentence showing Bono an envelope he took from inside his jacket. Before leaving, he left the note on the entrance table, as Bono was standing in silence, still naked in front of the mirror, contemplating those words on his mind...

He finally came back from his thoughts and grabbed the note. It was an envelope, with a letter inside. He could recognize her handwriting on it.

"Your sexiness:

I hope to see you this week. I'm scared. Too many new things coming. First time singing live, showing myself, being on live TV, being nominated. Too many virginities all together don't you think? Haha. Sounds like a joke you'll probably say. I miss you, more than you think. Thanks for taking care of me and keeping him close to you on these times, he needs you. Please update me on him, how's he doing? I hope he understands it was better for him. I can't stand being hated by him, it hurts too much, but it's over and I'll have to accept it.
