Hello. So as you may be able to tell I am completely obsessed with doctor who, and this week's episode really really hit my gut and made me really proud of this show.
The episode was titled "Rosa"
It was about Rosa Parks. The sci-fi element of the show did not take away from the history. Rosa was still the hero of her story and it was perfectly written and portrayed.
In the episode I literally witnessed Rosa refuse to give up her seat.
If you don't like doctor who, I don't care. PLEASE WATCH THIS EPISODE.
It REALLY hits you in the gut. It's uncomfortable to watch at points, but as it should be.
Seriously. the whole racism topic is handled perfectly and everything is really well done. Please watch it.
It was also the first doctor who episode ever written by a black woman. So there you go.
