I pulled my car up to the side of my parents home.
Looking out the window, I smiled.
"We can do this." Niall breathed.
I looked back at him and patted his thigh. "Yes, we are, and we're going to do great."
He blushed and puffed his cheeks, nervously getting out of the car.
He quickly ran to my side and opened the door.
"Babe, you didn't have to do that." I smiled, kissing his cheek.
He fixed his collar and smiled over to me.
"Just in case your parents are watching us through the window." He whispered, walking up to the door.
I chuckled and opened the door.
"You should knock!" He whispered, clearly nervous.
I rolled my eyes and walked into the foyer.
Everything still looked the same. The marble floor, the wooden stair case.
"Aria? Is that you?"

Turning around, I saw my mum and dad casually walking over from the living room.

Aria, how are you?" My father questioned, putting his game face on.
I smiled and tightly hugged him.
"I'm doing fantastic, how are you?"
"Doing pretty good. Is this Niall?" He smiled, walking over to him. Niall nervously stuck his hand out.
"Nice to meet you, sir." He grinned.
My dad grimaced and shook his hand. "It's a pleasure meeting you." He chuckled.
"It really is, Aria hasn't shut up about you!" My mum added, giving him a warm hug.
I slightly chuckled and shot a quick glare at my mum.

As we were sitting on the sofa, my mum reached from behind her and pulled out a photo album. Great. "Mum, you promised!" I chuckled, reaching for it.
Niall softly held me in a hug to see it.
"No, Ni! It's pure evil!" I whined.
He giggled and pulled me in, kissing my ear.
"Okay, now that she's locked up, we can show you!" She squealed.
As my mum opened the first page, my dad grabbed my year twelve photo. Oh gosh.
"This was Aria's most awkward school photo." He beamed, pointing to my photoed face.
Covering Niall's face with both my hands, he licked my palm.
"Ew! Niall you weirdo!" I protested as he grabbed the photo.
"Awe, princess, I think you look beautiful." He awed.
I crossed my legs and slouched.
"As you can tell, I ate my feelings back then." I muttered.
"Psh, no you didn't, you look stunning." He winked, softly kissing my cheek.
I blushed and dazzled into his eyes. "I'd like to see your photo then." I murmured.
"But also, this is her cutest!" Mum squeaked, handing him the binder.
It was a photo of me in the bathtub at the age of around four. I was throwing bubbles at my brother who wanted to give his little sister a bath.
He was squealing and holding his hands to his face while I held mine to my chest, clearly trying to act like a grown woman.
"This is adorable." He murmured.
I rested my head on his shoulder.
"Good, because my first boyfriend told me it was stupid." I murmured.
My dad gasped.
"Was it Nathan? I never liked that boy." He muttered, turning the pages of a photo album.
"Must've been, he tried to hit on me once." My mum gasped, swiping a hair out of her face.
"Mum, I'm sure he didn't try to hit on you." I mumbled.

Gavin, my ten year old cousin finally came down stairs to see us and join brunch.
"Gavin!" I beamed, giving him a tight hug.
He chuckled and patted my back as we waddled in the hug.
"How's it going, Aria?" He smiled, taking a seat.
"I've been good. How about yourself, Squirt Bum?"
He scowled and took a bite of his fruit salad.
"I'm not that short anymore, but I'm managing." He confessed, with a slight whine.
I gave him a sympathetic look and took a bite of my turkey bacon sandwich.
"So, Niall, how much do you make a week?" My dad asked, shifting in his seat.
"Dad!" I exclaimed.
Niall grinned and looked at the table.
"For a year, I make ten million pounds ($1,969,000, I think?)."
My father choked on his water and smiled.
"Ad' a boy!" He praised.
Niall chuckled and took a sip of his water.
"So, hows sex life?" Gavin asked, winking at us both.
My jaw dropped. Why and how would a ten year old know this.
"Gavin! We do not ask those questions!" Mum gasped.
He shrugged and downed his salad.

Later in the brunch, I excused myself from the dinner table to use the loo.
"Excuse me for a moment." I smiled, placing my napkin on my seat.
As I walked into the bathroom, I looked around the walls.
There were pictures of Jared.
To tell you the truth, my parents really did miss him.
When he died, mum cried every night and wouldn't come out of bed for a week.
As for dad, he started drinking. Every night, he'd come home drunk.
Having enough of it, I sat him down and explained to him that I needed him and I wouldn't want him to be in the state that Jared was in when he died. In my opinion, I think that really changed his ways.
After finishing my business, I began to walk back to the dining room.
There was laughter and chanting, happily.
Stopping by the corner, I began to listen.
"Thank you so much, Mr and Mrs Kingsley!" Niall beamed.
I smiled and bit the skin of my thumb.
I wonder what they were talking about.
"Any time, my boy!" Dad chuckled.
I sighed and walked into the dining room.
"So, ready to go, babe?" I smiled, holding my left hand out.
He nodded and took my hand.
"Bye," I grinned, hugging everyone goodbye.

We began to drive away and I had to ask him the question.
"So, why'd you thank my father and mother?" I questioned, biting the inside of my lower lip.
He chuckled and shook his head.
"It's nothing." He grinned.
I smiled and softly nudged his shoulder.
"Come on, Boo. Tell me." I chanted.
Again, he shook his head.
"Sorry, Princess, but it's a surprise, you'll love it." He grinned, jolting his legs in excitement.
I tilted my head back and laughed.
"Fine and by the way, you're adorable."
