"Starry and I met when you was still very young and I was on the run from Alpha Malik and Alpha Jovano," the queen began.

She gently took her daughter's hand in hers and instructed her to close her eyes. "Instead of telling you, how about I show you."

The room suddenly darkened and all the windows slammed shut as the queen and princess were sucked into a memory.

Queen Alejandra's PoV

The once peaceful forest was now filled with the sounds of growling wolves. The growling coming from every direction.

I was desperately trying to get them off my tracks while trying to keep my baby asleep. Thankfully luck was on my side since she had managed to sleep through all this.

After dodging many trees and running around crazily, I was forced to stop in my tracks by a wide stream. The water was flowing with such a force and appeared to be deep.

Not wanting to put my babygirl's life at risk, I turned around only to be met with fierce looking wolves. Their teeth were out with saliva dripping out of their mouths and their claws were ready for battle.

Getting into a protective stance over my baby, I hissed at them. I was ready to do anything it takes to save my little girl.

In all directions that I looked, there were wolves surrounding me. I was trapped with nowhere to go. Even if I did manage to kill some, there was to many of them. I was outnumbered.

Somehow, my luck was wearing thin because Aracel had began crying. Her little hands and fingers were clawing at my skin indicating that she was hungry and uncomfortable.

I was desperately looking around for any way to escape while slowly backing towards the river. Aracel's claws scraping my skin through the cloth was not making things any better.

Looking up at the sky, a full moon was clearly visible besides the sun. Without warning, my body shifted into its third form.

The wolves took a tiny step back before all their heads turned to look at the back of them. Stepping out of the bushes was Alpha Malik with an evil smirk.

"We finally meet once again. It has been too long," he said, slowly approaching me. "Don't you think so, Ally," he said my nickname in a mocking manner.

I growled at him, my eyes watching his every movement. His eyes were glowing brjght yellow and his teeth appeared to be much longer and had a yellow tint to them.

"Don't you think you should allow me to meet your baby? Afterall, I was and still am your Alpha and for my hospility towards you after your mother's death."

In a flash, he pounced at me with his extended claws aimed at my face. Thanks to my quick reflexes I was able to avoid it, but I ended up falling into the river.

I didn't know what to do. Placing my finger on Aracel's nose and my mouth on her's, I then began to transfer my oxygen to her. Every few minutes I would take some fresh air and then ttransfer it to her. At the same time, I was also observing Malik's men.

A few of them had gotten into the water causing me to swim farther out in the water. The force of the water dragging me along with it.

As more of the wolves got in the water, I felt something slimy rub against my leg. I nearly got a heartattack but managed to keep it together.

The few men that were not in wolf form began yelling that there was something in the water. Of course, Malik didn't care and demanded them not to come out without me or my baby.

All of a sudden, his men were being dragged underneath the water. Seeing this, I tried to swim to the other side but the deeper I got into the water, the more powerful the current was.

Their screams filled my ears as they each were killed by the mysterious creature.

I was thanking the goddess in my head until I felt something grab my tail and yanked me beneath the water. With one hand holding my baby, I swang my free one around.

"You're safe with me," I heard the most innocent and sweet sounding voice say. It grabbed my hand and almost instantly, I could breathe under the water.

The thing began swim down the river at an incredible speed. I was thinking that it would break my hand with how fast it was going and how tight its grip was on my wrist.

In no time, I was in calm and shallow waters. My feet could now touch the bottom sand and I was able to walk just fine.

Looking back I saw a tall, gorgeous woman with long black hair that touched her butt and she was staring at me with intense green eyes. Her body was lightly covered in olive green scales.

"Thank you for helping me," I said, staring at her hand as her blood fell into the water. "What is your name and how can I ever repay you?"

Her eyes landed on my child whose arms were tightly wrapped around my neck. Her wet blonde curls looking like noodles.

"I'm Starry and I don't want anything of yours, except," she paused. Her eyes glowing as she began to smile. "When the time comes, I will make your daughter a queen and all who hears her name shall fear her."

With that being said, Starry began running up stream before jumping in the water and disappearing.

I had no intentions of staying in the water and quickly got out.

End of Flashback

"And that is how I met Starry and how she saved our lives. Your father had captured Malik but that's unimportant," the queen said.

The princess was still a bit shocked but had recovered from being inside of her mother's memory.

"What did she mean about making me a queen and everyone that hears my name will fear me?" Princess Aracel curiously asked causing her mother's smile to falter.

"You will find out soon enough. The time is quickly approaching."
