"I've finally got you once again," Alpha Malik said, tracing his fingers across her jaw. His dark brown eyes staring directly into her blue ones.

Her mate had went away with their daughter and she had been carelessly strolling in the woods, ignoring the many warnings from him.

She was dying to be surrounded by nature and was about to let her wolf out when Alpha Malik and Alpha Jovano came out of nowhere. That is how she ended up locked in this cell.

"I've missed the times we shared. How would you scream for help. How would you whimper whenever I am around." He twirled a strand of her hair before roughly yanking it.

Alpha Jovano had left to go attend to some matters leaving her all alone with this horrible man. The man who started all her troubles. He was the first person to abuse her and use her for his own sick desires.

She could hear her mate's comforting voice in her head as he calmed her down. He was coming to her rescue so there was nothing for her to fear.

The sick man standing in front of her let out a dark chuckle as he looked her over. The same dark look in his eyes that she could never get out of her head.

"The key to taking over the supernatural world," he said, a smirk appearing on his face. "Who would ever think that such a weak girl like you could have so much power?"

Suddenly, a burst of courage erupted through her as she felt sparks flowing through her veins. It was either or now that she embraced what she had become and she was ready to accept what the Goddess had given her.

A smile appeared on her face as her blue eyes got brighter. "Alpha Malik, don't you think it is time that you pay for all the wrongs you have done?" She was close to shifting and it was only now that she clearly understood what the Goddess had meant.

She was going to help bring justice to the werewolf world.

A sigh escaped from the queen as she sat in her room near the window. Memories and flashbacks just kept on repeating in her head and she didn't understand the meaning behind them.

Suddenly, her door came crashing open followed by her youngest child yelling for her. Excitement clear in her eyes as she rushed towards her mother wanting to share her good news with her.

"Mother, mother! Father is returning today! He's finally coming back after so long!" She shouted as she grabbed her mother's hand and began twirling around. The queen soon forgot about her worries and was now filled with joy for her husbands return.

She thought about throwing a welcome ball for him but knew just how much he hated these things. She also couldn't wait to see her second eldest child who was following in his father's footsteps.

"Go tell the cook to prepare your brother and father favourite meals," she instructed before going to look for one of the many dresses that the King had given her. The events of the day had suddenly turned around for the better and surprised the queen.

She was a bit worried as to why she hadn't foreseen this before but decided to investigate this matter late. Nothing was going to ruin this day for her and certainly not nagging thoughts.

Princess Aracel on the other hand couldn't stay still. She was bubbling with joy and excitement of finally seeing her brother and father that she was constantly bumping into walls and furniture on the way to her room.

Some of the guards had questioning looks when they saw the princess but they didn't say a word. This wouldn't be the first time that princess acted this way and they were somewhat used to it by now.

The princess slammed her door shut and walked straight into her closet to change out of her dress into more comfortable clothes. It was quite difficult to move around in such long dresses and so she changed into pants and a vest.

Whenever her brother returned from his travels, he would always tell her all about it and then they would train with one. Sometimes even go climbing up trees or doing some mischief to the guards.

She quickly removed her hair form its curly up-do and braided it into two pigtails before removing the little make up she had on. Her behaviour always changed when her brother was around and it usually drove the queen insane.

Now that she was all ready for her brother's arrival the long wait began. Her feet couldn't stay still and it wasn't long before she was pacing back and forth in her room trying to come up with a way to calm herself down.

If one didn't know any better and saw the princess right now, they would think she was on some kind of drug.

Meanwhile, Nubia was singing loudly on her return from the cook. Her voice bouncing off on the castle's wall. This had been the liveliest day in the castle since the king left and the guards and maids could tell why they were so excited. It wouldn't be long before the entire pack would be alerted of the King's return.

The little princess was singing one of her favourite songs which she had learned from her mother as she hopped to the flower garden. She was going to make a flower bouquet for her father like she always did as a welcome back gift.

It wasn't long before the rest of the castle soon got busy making sure that everything was in order and nothing was wrong. This was going to be a long and busy day with everything that was now taking place.

Now all that everyone was waiting for was the arrival of their King and prince and to hear how their travels went. They had been gone for quite some time and now everyone was buzzing with anticipation.

They would soon be here.
