My body was just aching all over and I could barely sit up straight. Ashanti had practically kill me with his so called training because that was not like anything I had seen in my previous packs or I even thought of.

Still, I didn't even really know what form I was in because when fighting we had to switch between our three forms and that was just tiring and made my head dizzy, but according to him, I did good for my first try.

I was resting on the couch but I couldn't get myself into one comfortable position without it feeling like I will pop my bone out of its socket and it hurt so much that I wanted to just start crying for no reason.

Ashanti had left me all alone because he said he some errands to take care of while he left me here to groan in pain wishing for it all to go away as I tightly squeezed the pillows, while wrapped like a burrito in the covers.

I was still angry at him for making me fight him in my wolf form while he was in his mixed form. He obviously had an advantage and did he take it easy on me? Hell no!

When I tried to aim for his stomach, he punched me which sent me flying into a tree as if I was a bird that couldn't see where it was heading for and did he give me a timeout? Oh no, we just went straight back to his so called training.

Honestly, I don't even know how all of my bones are still intact after being smashed into so many trees and the numerous amount of times I have fallen to the ground from not seeing when he would throw a punch or kick at me.

At least he made me a scrumptious meal as his way of making up for nearly killing me, but I must say he is an awesome cook. It actually made me sad I was unable to eat all, but now that I could shape-shift, my appetite had increased a bit. I wonder if someone taught him how to cook so well or if he taught himself.

The door opened as he walked inside the house as his face visibly calmed down when he spotted me on the chair. He sighed as he came and took a seat besides me, his eyes never leaving mine.

"What's wrong?" I asked worriedly, sensing that something wasn't right and he knew just what it was.

"The bond between you and Jovano have worn off and now he is working together with Malik to capture you," he said angrily, as he closed his eyes shut and tightly held my hand.

My first thought was whether my grandmother was okay or not and if Jovano had done anything to her, hopefully not. Next thing I couldn't believe was why the Moon Goddess broke off the bond if she was on our side, but it looks like she is not.

This all seemed like some kind of sick and twisted game that she created with our species to amuse herself. They made her seem like such a sweet and caring being who loved and took care of her creations, when in reality she was just a hardhearted bitch.

"My grandmother, is she okay?" I stuttered, choking on my own words hoping that she was safe and away from all of this.

"According to what I heard, after you left she somehow just disappeared with everything that she came with as if she was never even there," he chuckled as if it was amusing. "That's something she's good at. She used to always do it to me when she stayed with me and it used to freak me out," he explained when he saw the look on my face.

I was shocked to find out that she stayed with him and that just brought up questions, but now wasn't the time to go into detail about that.

"Have they got my scent? I mean we are close to Jovano's territory and I'm sure that he has already sent out his men to sniff me out," I was speaking so fast, I don't even think my own brain processed my words.

"Don't worry. Remember when I told you we have special abilities?" He questioned, as I nodded my head in response. "Well I have blocked them from tracking your scent, so you are safe and our location isn't nowhere near Jovano's territory."

I looked at him as if he was crazy. "I don't know if you didn't notice, but when I was running away from him, I'm pretty sure I didn't run like the flash."

He laughed at what I said before speaking once again. "Looks like you don't even know your own running ability. The Moon Goddess have blessed you with speed darling because I am nowhere near any packs," he said amused.

So he's trying to tell me that I have incredible speed and I didn't even know it. I know I am a quick runner but not that quick! I might as well just be named the female flash then.

"Well life is just peachy!" I yelled as I threw my arms in the air but instantly regretted it when I heard my bones crack. "So now everyone is on the lookout for me as if I am some criminal and I just learnt that I have the power of speed. I just wish I had the power of invisibility so that no one could see me."

"You should get some rest, hopefully you aren't too sore tomorrow because we have some more training to do now that they are searching for you," he said, as he made me rest my back on the chair and pulled the covers to my chest.

"What do you mean more training tomorrow? I barely made it out alive and just look at my condition!" I yelled as he laughed at me. "I wouldn't be surprised if my spine was broken from the amount of times I hit a tree and it was because of you!"

"Oh don't be so dramatic darling, you'll heal. Besides, I'll much easier on you so don't worry and this is for your safety."

I was about to say something when he shushed me before walking away while still laughing. Not seeing anyway that I was going to get out of that chair, I just laid there until sleep came calling to me.
