"If your blood mix with that of a regular wolf then they will know you're different sweetheart. That is why you must always remain in this pack or stay rogue, because they will want you more than ever," my mother warned me as my grandmother nodded her head.

"Si, si. Hope you are listening to us because you won't know the great measures people will go just to have what don't belong to them. Men can be selfish beasts when they want to, so don't fall for their acts," my grandmother shook her finger in my face as I quickly nodded my head.

"So what is so important about us mama?" I asked, curious as to why we were so special and wanted by many.

"We are the key to stop many supernatural wars and if they found out, everyone would rip at each others throats to have that key. That is why we can't let them have it sweetheart. They will just discard of us once they have what they seek.

"What is the key?" I asked, still wrapping my head around what I have just been told.

"The key is..."

"Darling." Jovano called out to me as the dream faded away and I felt the tears running down my cheeks. "You were dreaming and suddenly you began to cry. What's wrong," he asked with worry painted all over his face.

I shook my head while wiping away the tears. My eyes were stinging and I didn't have to look into a mirror to tell that they were red from crying.

"You know what! I have had enough of this bullshit. You have a voice so why the fuck are you not using it!" He yelled at me, while grabbing a fistful of my hair and dragging me off the bed. My bottom was aching from the rough contact with the floor.

I was being dragged by my hair out of the room and down the hallway while everyone was just laughing at me and calling me names. No one tried to help me or even tell him that what he was doing was wrong, not even his mother.

"You will speak today or you will be punished. I have tried being nice to you and I can no longer tolerate this behaviour," he said, as he roughly shoved me into the cells. "I have been patient with you, but it seems you are just playing with me."

I tried to get off the concrete floor but was kicked straight in the stomach. Pain exploding through my body like a bomb that just went off.

"Now answer me you little bitch!" He yelled once more before grabbing my hair and slapping me on both cheeks before tossing me to the ground. My face felt numb as the tears threatened to come out, but I held them in.

I opened my mouth to speak but the words just won't come out no matter how hard I tried to. He raised his hand to slap me again as I tried speaking but once again, no sound came from my mouth.

He slapped me again as my hand instantly touched my burning cheek, where I'm sure had a bright red hand mark on it. There was nothing I could do as he kicked me repeatedly in the stomach, ignoring my cries of pain.

"I know exactly what you can do and you will help me," he smirked, as he lifted me up by the neck and threw my already aching body at the wall before he walked away laughing.

"Alejandra? Alejandra, wake up," I heard my name being called repeatedly as his hands shook my body. The tingles spreading through me like electricity as my tears freely run down my face as I opened my eyes.

Jovano was looking down at me worriedly, as I looked around to see that I was still in the same bedroom and not in the cell. I instantly backed away from his touch as the images of him hurting me flooded through my mind.

"Did I do something wrong?" He asked hurt that I didn't want him to touch me, but I was scared of the thought that he might hurt me like in the dream.

"No," I croaked out as I placed a hand around my sore throat. It even felt as if someone had been choking me and that frightened me. My grandmother had always warned me to be careful of what I dreamed about and I guess I now understood why.

"What happened to your face? Did someone slap you?" He reached out to touch me, but I shook my head as I moved my body even farther away from him as I avoided looking into his hurt eyes. "Just tell me what's wrong Alejandra. I am trying to help you." The hurt was evident in his voice as he spoke.

"No one can help me, so just stop trying Jovano," I said, as I bounced off the bed and run towards the door and bolted out into the hallway.

People were staring at me like I was crazy, but I didn't care because all I could think about was just getting out of this place. I didn't belong here and no one would ever understand me even if they tried because not even I could understand me.

I continued running out the front door and towards the direction of the woods, hoping that maybe I would just be free of all of this, but I was wrong. As soon as I was about to step foot into the woods, he somehow got a grip of my hand and pulled me into his chest.

"Let me go!" I yelled while punching him but he didn't even budge as he continued to hold me tightly in his arms, until I finally calmed down.

He picked me up bridal style as he lead me to somewhere I hadn't been and my heart was pounding in my chest at the numerous possibilities of where we were heading. For all I know, he could be taking me to the place he would murder me where no one can hear my screams. Perhaps my dream was right and he was just faking his kindness all along.

After some time of walking, he set me down on the ground as I looked around. We were surrounded by beautiful flowers indicating that we were in a flower garden, but I couldn't smell them because my nose was blocked from all of my constant crying.

Jovano then laid down besides me as we stared up at the star filled sky. After a moment of silence, he spoke up.

"Why won't you just let me help you?" He asked as he turned to look at me, but I kept looking at the sky.

"Because how can you help me when not even I can?" I asked, as I chuckled to myself. He was the first and only person who has ever offered to help me since my mother's death, but now it's too late.

"At least let me try?" He pleaded as I made the mistake of staring into his gorgeous eyes which always hypnotized me as silver was slowly turning into my favourite colour.

"What's the point in trying to fix me? I am broken from the inside out." It was true and there was no point in denying what we both knew.

"I have already given up and you should to. Besides, you have to look after your pack instead of wasting your time on me." I was about to continue with my little rambling when he crashed his lips on mine.

"You really should have more faith in yourself," he said smiling, as he pulled away from me, his eyes twinkling like the stars above us.

Before I knew it, his lips crashed on mine once more as he kissed me passionately, our lips moving in sync like we were made for each other. It wasn't long before I came back to my senses and realized that this was just the mate bond.I quickly pushed him off me because those were not my feelings for him.

Or are they?

Everything is just getting more confusing and I can not take it. My head soon began spinning and the next thing I knew, I blacked out.
