A month had quickly flown by with everyone being so busy. Everyone was so busy preparing for the big day to come that no one had actually realized that it was now here.

Even the sky was strange. The moon and the sun seemed to be stuck together. It was extra windy today as tree branches were broken off and flying all around.

Everybody was locked up in their houses, while trying to protect their children from whatever was coming.

Queen Alejandra knew it was here. She could feel it in the unusual atmosphere and had dreamt about it the night before. The day she was preparing for had finally arrived.

Placing the last letter in princess Nubia's room, she quickly exited into the empty hall. Everything was quiet besides the howling of the wind which was soon followed by the sound of rain pouring heavily on the roof.

Princess Aracel and prince Omirion were both with their father, standing outside with all of the warriors. They were in neat lines awaiting the enemy patiently.

Princess Nubia, however, was trapped in a dream in which her mother had placed her in to ensure her safety. Her body was safely hidden away in her mothers study, which was also protected by the Moon Goddess Gaia.

Transforming into her third form, the queen was finally ready. She already knew what was going to happen, so it was all up to fate now.

Princess Aracel didn't know how to feel as she stood besides her father and brother. She didn't know what to expect but at the same time apart of her knew.

Darlius was supposed to be one of the warriors, but no one knew of his whereabouts. The princess also found it strange that her father didn't find it surprising when this news was reported to him.

She wanted to go look for him, but now was definitely not the time for any mistakes.

Her brother appeared to be calm. His face was void of any expression or emotion, resembling that of the king's.

The rain had no effect on them as everyone waited. No one dared to make a move without the King's permission.

After what seemed like forever, a loud screeching sound echoed all around. It was a mixture of a newborn baby cries and the sound of a vulture zooming down on its prey.

Everyone looked around for the source of the sound, but it appeared to be coming from every direction. However, there was a familiar tone in the screech that the princess recogncloudy
The princess looked around at her family and noticed that her mother had also recognized who the screech might belong to. They both exchanged glances before the queen slowly moved to the front of everyone.

She took in a deep breath, tilted her head to the cloudy gray sky and let out a mighty howl. One that showed power and authority and belonged to a warrior of the Moon Goddess.

The screeching sound got louder and seemed to be coming from the forest. The sound then began to have a mixture of different tones and pitches as it got louder indicating that it belonged to more than one being.

The warriors straightened up their poses not knowing what they were up against. The King seemed unfazed by it all whilst the Queen had a look which said she knew exactly what it was.

Queen Alejandra licked her lips liked a predator as her tail began to swing back and forth. Her eyes began to glow a bright silver colour as she waited patiently.

Then everything stopped. The rain vanished, the sky cleared up and the wind died down. The sun and the moon was still stuck together but they appeared to be giving light as one.

Slowly, a woman stepped out of the forest. Her long black hair was in a braid and was dressed in a shell bra and a skirt that looked like some kind of animal skin. Her body was filled with colourful scales all over it.

"Finally, we meet again," she said with a smile, revealing her sharp, pointy, white teeth. "I didn't think it would be so soon but here we are."

The queen's tail began wagging quicker. "Nice seeing you again Starry. Who would have thought that you saved me only to kill me in the end?"

Starry let out a little chucks before waving her hand in the air, signalling for the other of her kind to come out. Following her signal, more scaly creatures stepped out from the forest. All looking frightening as they eyes the werewolves.

The queen looked at the king and gave him a little nod. Sadness quickly flashed between his eyes as he nodded back. Everything was going according to what the queen had already foreseen.

She turned back to face Starry, her face void of emotion before letting out a mighty shout that could be heard even space.

Everything was still for a second but then the chaos began. Everyone was at each other's throats fighting for their lives and the lives of their people. Blood was quickly being spilt as the rain began to pour once again.

The royal family defending their crown and their people with all their might. They would do whatever they could to win this battle.

Their enemies however were skilled just as good as they were. They also killed a good number of their men and didn't seem to be getting tired at all.

Large amounts of people were dying on both sides and it seemed like a never ending battle until a piercing scream came from the princess. Everyone stopped, their heads turning in her direction to see what could have caused this reaction.

The sight in front of them had tears coming out of the princess's eyes. Her mother's trachea had been roughly yanked out by Starry as she dropped her lifeless body to the ground.

The king let out a fierce roar that had the ground shaking. Nothing he did before could have ever prepared him for this moment.

Everyone in the village and miles away could hear his roar, even the sleeping princess Nubia. Upon hearing it, she immediately woke up.

It was now her time.
