Hello.

Omg Shane's new vid.

(y/n)'s POV

I pulled my dance bag up from the floor, holding my hair with one hand. I stared at myself in the mirror, my chest aching slightly. I was already missing home and I had been here for one evening. When I woke up this morning in a strange bed, I panicked, which quickly turned to tears. I had no idea where I was, and it was scary.

I already miss Dan and Phil.

I let out a breath and pulled around the hair tie, securing my hair in a pony tail. I was to be introducing myself to the team here, learn the girls names and such. It was going to be difficult, i knew this obviously considering we were speaking different languages, but James would be with me the entire time and teaching dance wouldn't be to hard. They just had to watch and listen to me count. James would help with notes and corrections.

"(y/n), are you ready?" he asked. I nodded, picking up my dance bag and following him out the door. Once we reached his front step, I stopped, looking out at the skyline. The sky did look beautiful in the daylight. Just like I thought. "(y/n)?" he asked. I looked over at him.

"Sorry, just a little distracted." I said.

"It's no problem, let's just go." he said, smiling. James was nice, but he didn't know me. Dinner was awkward. And this morning too. I just wasn't connecting with him. We were supposed to head to the Eiffel tower, per my request, today so hopefully we'd connect then. I bounced down the steps after him, forcing a smile on my face.

"I'm nervous." I said.

"I'm sure they'll love you and you have me as your translator." he said.

"Yeah, but still." I said.

"Still what?" he asked. Oh right, English wasn't his first language.

"Still, I'm nervous." I said.

"Oh, you'll be alright." he said. I nodded and shut my mouth, knowing it wouldn't make sense to keep talking to him. We arrived after quite a long time and when I stepped out my stomach churned nervously. What if they hated me or the translation didn't go well? Then I'd spend months in pure torture! I stepped inside the building and familiar music played. So they used English music too.

"(y/n)?" I turned around to see a girl who was around my age looking at me.

"Yeah?"

"Hey I'm another dance teacher here. So if you ever need help or anything just find me. I'm Kenzie by the way." she said.

"Nice to meet you." I replied and she disappeared. "You didn't say anything about other English speaking teachers!!" I said.

"I thought you could just meet them now." he said. I sighed and nodded and he led me to another room. Kenzie came in shortly after us, waving to me.

"Should I?" I gestured to the large group of girls and boys sitting on the floor. James nodded and walked to stand by me.

"Bonjour! My name is (y/n), I'm from England as you have probably heard and I was asked to get to know you all and get you settled into the dance life!" I said. James quickly translated and a few of the kids showed their giddiness, shifting in their spots.

"Okay so circle up and we'll go around and introduce ourselves." I said. The group got into a circle and I joined them, crossing my legs.

"Okay, so we'll go around and say our name and something interesting about ourselves." I said. "I'm (y/n) and I have never been to France before." James translated and soon each of the students went around, telling me about them. I scribbled down the fun fact next to a name and picture list James had given me. After everyone went I quickly explained that we'd be doing a dance circle. One person at a time goes and dances in the center and then chooses someone else. The kids looked like they were having a lot of fun as the music I put on played.
