HEY. I started my day by singing barbie girl for ten minutes while trying to decide what pants to wear.

YEAH.

That's about as best as I can sum up my day.

Sorry, but no song today, but there will definitely be one in the NEXT CHAPTER!!!!

ENJOY MY LOVELIES!

Dan's POV

"Hey, you okay?" Cat asked, taking a sip from her drink. She was visiting in London for Zoella's birthday and I agreed to take her out to random places the next couple of days.

"Yeah, yeah. Fine." I replied and Cat raised her eyebrows.

I wasn't. Ever since the whole nightmare deal, 4 days ago, (y/n) hasn't answered a single text and I don't know why. Is she avoiding me because she feels awkward? Where is she anyway?

Needless to say, I'm freaking out.

"Yeah, right. What's wrong?" She asked.

"No one." I replied and sighed.

"Ah, but you said no ONE. I didn't ask who did I?" Cat said.

Damn it.

"I should actually check on her. I haven't heard from her and I'm getting worried. You don't mind if we stop do you?" I stressed.

"Of course not, who this girl?"

"I met her online and now we are really good friends. Her name is (y/n)."

"And she's got you in some sort of trance, I see." She flashed an obviously fake smile at me and I did as well. Cat had a crush on me a while back, but I hadn't liked her back. She always said she was cool, but I couldn't be for sure.

"Wow. Sound pretty I guess." Cat commented and followed me down the street.

"She hasn't answered any of my texts." I said, looking at my blank phone.

"Well, if your are getting that from a girl, it's not a good sign." Cat sneered. She already didn't like (y/n) and she hadn't even met her. We came upon her apartment and I knocked, Cat tapping her foot impatiently behind me. Maybe this wasn't a good idea. I heard a yelp and a small thud, followed by a curse. The sound of bare feet padded across the wood floor and (y/n) opened the door. She was all dressed up for teaching in tight capris and a tank top. Her hair was pulled back into a bun and she looked at me, eyes wide looking surprised.

"Dan? What are you doing here?" She asked. Her voice was hurried signalling a sort of panic.

"You haven't answered any of my texts. You worried me a lot." She looked down, ashamed and dug her foot into the floor. You could tell the atmosphere had change from her not wanting to be apart, like she confessed that night to this distant, trying to get me out atmosphere.

"Yes. Sorry. I have...been busy."She said, mulling over her words, picking and choosing them carefully.

"So you're the amazing (y/n) I have heard so much about!" Cat said, plastering a false smile on her face.

"Uh, yeah I guess." She said, shaking her head. She headed inside and I took this as an invite in.

"Are you guys coming from like a date or something." (y/n) asked, squinting her eyes.

"You could call it that." Cat said, grabbing my arm.

"No, it was more like a friendly lunch." I said, smiling painfully.

"Sure, whatever, silly goose." Cat said, bopping my nose with her index finger. (y/n) just looked at us impatiently, waiting for us to finish. She looked bored and angry at the same time and I could feeling it burn my stomach. She crossed her arms and Cat shot her a glare.

"Well, if you don't mind, I have to leave if I don't want to be late for class. As much as I would love to stay and watch that--" She said gesturing to Cat and I, or rather Cat clinging to my arm.

"--but I have to go." She said, grabbing her favorte purple bag she used to hold her dance shoes.

"Yeah, Dan and I have to head out for the day, right?" Cat said, looking at me.

"Uh yeah I guess." I said.

"I'll try to remember to text you." (y/n) said, holding the door open for us. "But I'm pretty sure PJ wants to have dinner."

"Ooh PJ? Is that some sort of blossoming love I hear?" Cat asked.

"Uh, no. I don't thinks so. If someone liked me I would definitely hope they had the balls to tell me." (y/n) said, looking directly at me. She turned abruptly, walking down the street opposite us. I watched her walk away, graceful and lyrical from her dance training. Her walk had that sense, but it also had a slight quirk to it that let her show her personality when she did it.

"Dan, let's go." Cat said, tugging at my arm and we headed to a movie theater. I pulled ut my phone while we waited, opening the messages.

Hey peej, are you taking (y/n) out tonight?

Yeah, why do you ask?

I remember when (y/n) met PJ. It was a while ago, but I remember they hit it off relatively well.

Do you like her?

What?

Is it a date?

No... does she think it is?!

No, I was just idk

Well, it's not. Why would I do that to you? Besides. You know I like Sophie.

To me?

Well, duh. You initiated this convo, concerned about her dating someone. plus I see how you look at her. I'm not blind.

Sorry, yeah. Cat just got to me with her little comments.

Wait. Woah

What?

You brought Cat to (y/n)'s flat?

Yeah, I'm with her now.

Dude.

What?

If you don't know there is no helping you!

Ugh, just be nice to her

Why wouldn't I?

Thanks peej

No prob

Was that why she seemed so irritated? Because Cat was being annoying? She was being a little rude. No, she was just running a little late and I just randomly showed up that's all.

I hope.

Wow. I apologise for all the damn angst! I feeling that way and I don't know why.

Dan is oblivious that (y/n) is jealous when Cat shows up BTW

ALSO! NO HATE TOWARDS CAT! I LOVE HER! SHE IS JUST SO EASY TO INCORPORATE IN THE STORY! NO HATE WHATSOEVER!

Thanks!
