Hey. What's up lovely peeps? Enjoy!

(y/n)'s POV

I awoke to the sound of gentle breathing beside me. I rolled over, my vision focusing, to see Dan, peacefully sleeping next to me on the couch. I carefully removed my feet from on top of his legs and stood up. My blanket fell and I shivered. My apartment was cold and empty this morning, a certain chill in the air. I looked back at Dan. I wish I could be that blanket right now. Strictly for warmth of course...

Who am I kidding?

My feet stuck to the floor slightly after being cold and clammy all night. My feet made small squeaks as I padded over to the thermostat. Unlike many apartments in London, mine actually has heating and cooling which was extremely convenient. I turned it on a listen for the sound of the heater to come on. A soft whir permeated the silence and I sighed with content. I glanced over at my clock. 10:32 AM. I had to teach a workout class for my upper level dancers at 2, so I had quite a bit of time to do whatever I wanted. I looked back over at Dan, now noticing a stray curl of hair. I tiptoed over to him, as to not wake him, and gently pinched the hair between my fingers. I placed it to the side and mid-fix Dan's eyes opened, looking at me hovering over him.

"(y/n)?" He asked, his face flooded with confusion. I pulled my hand away from his face quickly as an obvous blush crept up on my face.

"Morning." I said, nervously.

Please don't mention me being so close to you

Please don't.

I'll actually die.

My brain was running a million miles a minute.

"Good morning to you too." He replied, a soft smile forming at the corners of his mouth. I let out a sigh of relief. There is only so much embarrassment 1 person can take. I focused back in on Dan only to see that the damn curl had fallen back down to the middle of his forehead. Now I was currently putting all my energy into not putting it back, my OCD fighting so hard. I was just staring at it intensely, my body leaned slightly forward like a child desperately waiting for the bell to ring signifying the end of class. As if my life depended on it.

"What?"

My jumbled train of thought was broken by Dan's question.

"Your hair." I croaked, still restraining myself. He looked at me quizzically.

Don't do it.

You'll embarrass yourself.

Don't do it.

I cautiously pushed the curl aside as Dan watched my hand.

Aaaaand now I'm astreal projecting. I am in another universal plane. I am dying. I hate myself so much.

"Oh, thanks." He said, smiling at me.

Stop. Thinking. About. Him. Like. That.

I nodded and hurried to the kitchen, disassociating heavily. I pulled out my Lucky Charms, both our favorite cereal, and retrieved 2 bowls. Dan came into the kitchen with a yawn and sat at the counter.

"Hey, Lucky Charms is my favorite cereal." He observed as I poured the first bowl.

"Yeah, I know me too!" I said, handing him the first poured bowl.

"Wait, how do you know they are my favorite?" He asked, pulling the milk out of the fridge.

"Uh, well I have seen you eating them and, uh, the box in your kitchen has your name across it." I replied, pouring milk into my bowl.
