(A/N did you miss me? ILY. ~Samantha~)

*Pete's POV*

I was walking down the hallway to Patrick and I's room. Right before I was about to walk in, I heard singing. I peeked my head in so Patrick couldn't see.

He softly sang:

(Btw this is "Round Here" by Counting Crows. ~Sam~)

Round here we're carving out our names

Round here we all look the same

Round here we talk just like lions

But we sacrifice like lambs

Round here she's slipping through my hands

Sleeping children better run like the wind

Out of the lightning dream

Mama's little baby better get herself in

Out of the lightning

"That was beautiful," I smiled, walking into the room.

He jumped a little.

"Did I scare you?" I asked.

He giggled slightly and nodded. I laid next to him on the bed, wrapping my arm around his shoulders.

"I love you," I said, giving him a kiss on the cheek.

"I love you too," he replied.

Patrick planted a soft kiss on my lips. He pulled away quickly and inhaled sharply.

"Get this child out of me!" He groaned.

"You're thirty-eight weeks. Two more to go."

I snuggled into his chest.

"Hey Patrick, guess what?" I whispered.

"What?" He said.

I laughed, "I'm starting my first sub job tomorrow."

"Joe and Andy are going to be at work. I'm going to be home alone," he made a pouty face.

"Yes, but I'll text you, okay?" I reassured him.

"Alright. I'll miss you though," he held me closer.

"I'll miss you too."

"Who are you subbing for?"

"A math teacher Mrs. Margaux at Canter Middle." (Okay so I googled "middle schools in Chicago" and Canter is a real school. I didn't want to go as far as using a real teacher. ~Sam~)

"What grade does she teach?"

"Seventh."

*Next Morning*

I'm in slacks, dress shoes, and a button down shirt. I'm having trouble tying my tie.

"Help me," I yelped.

Patrick laughed and shook his head. He made it seem so easy. (Psh how do you even tie a tie ~Sam~)

"How do I look?" I asked.

"Sexy as hell," he answered, draping his arms around my neck.

I crammed my lips into his. When we pulled away from each other, our foreheads were still pressed together.

"I have to go now," I sighed.

"Don't leave me," he whined.

"I'll be back by four thirty. I love you."
