You sat in a circle with your classmates.
"Since it's a rainy day, why don't we play the pocky game?" A girl asks and everyone nods in agreement.
"What's the pocky game?" Kaito asks as the circle makes room for him.
"Two people have to bite a pocky stick multiple times while they're holding it in their mouths. Which ever team gets the shortest length wins!" You explained, smiling at him.
He smiles back. "So we can be partners then?"
A massive wave of heat spread across your cheeks and over the bridge of your nose. "O-okay.."
Kaito raises his hand. "Can (y/n)-chan and I go first?" He asks and the group nods.
He grabs a pocky stick and places it in his mouth, moving closer to you.
You hesitantly close your mouth around the other end.
"1, 2, 3, go!"
You and Kaito start biting quickly to the center of the stick.
You stop at just before the center and Kaito keeps going.
Your lips brush against his and your eyes widened.
He gently took your hand in his and squeezed it.
Kaito finally bit the last piece and a girl quickly measured it.
"0.8 centimeters!" She exclaims.
Kaito smiles warmly at you and you smile back.
People went around playing, and by the end of the day, no one could beat 0.8.
Kaito pulled you into a hug, holding you tightly.
"Um, Kaito-kun..?"
"Yes?"
"Why are you hugging me?"
"Because we won!"
He starts pulling you out of the classroom, taking you out of the school.
"Kaito-kun! Where are you taking me?"
He smiles, but doesn't respond.

Kaito takes both your hands in his and helps you step onto the smooth ice. He steps on after you.
"Kaito-kun! I keep telling you, I can't skate!"
He softly smiles at you.
"I won't let you fall okay?"
"Promise?"
"I won't let go of you. Not now, not ever."
"Okay..."
Kaito began to slowly skate backwards, helping you glide with him.
You feel yourself falling forward but Kaito quickly straightens you.
Kaito gently spins around, his grip on your hands still firm.
You admired his blue hair, the way it perfectly fit his face. Not to mention his laugh - the same one that could send chills through your spine, the same contagious one.
You let out a laugh which quickly passed on to Kaito, who's melodic joy came through his vocal pipes.

"Did you have fun?" He asks as he helped you off the rink.
Smiling widely, you nodded.
You both sat on a bench and you tried getting your laces loose.
"Hey (y/n)?"
"Hm?"
"Would you like to do this again?"
Your mind drained. Was he asking you out?
"Y-yes! Okay!"
"That's great 'cause I've always wanted to do this." Kaito leans over and lifts your chin up to him.
He meets your lips with his and your heart starts racing. Pounding in your ears soon accompany it.
He gently pulls away, giving you a bright smile.
"Do you need help with those?" He asks, pointing to the skates.
You smile and nod. "Yes please!"
