Paulit-ulit na nag-eecho ang sinabi ni Mikael sa akin. Selfish yet it’s the sweetest word he said. Alam kong hindi naman kami ‘yung normal na couple. Parang ako ang nanligaw e. When we’re in New York, wala kaming ibang ginawa kundi mag-away. Err, yeah, inaaway ko siya pero lagi din naman niya akong inaasar. When we got back, I saw how upset he was ng dahil sa pagkakabalikan ni Ate Steph and Kuya PJ. I was there for him. Iniinis ko siya para mabaling ang atensyon niya sa akin para hindi na niya maisip ‘yung kay Ate Steph. I’m helping him to move on and I didn’t know I was the one who’s falling.

I know I should stop this because if ever he falls in love with me… I might hurt him, too. I might leave him. Ayokong iwan si Mikael. But for once, naging masaya ako sa ginagawa ko. Masaya akong maging girlfriend niya kahit pa nga ayaw niya. I don’t want this to end. I want him to be my end game.

“Okay ka lang?” he asked me. I looked at him and nodded. “If you want to be with Edward, pwede mo namang sabihin e,” he added.

Napakunot naman ang noo ko. “Pardon?”
