Chapter 33- 5 years.. (Final chapter)

Five years went by, 

hopes hair got longer and went brown like her mothers

her eyes sparkled like her mothers

she had a smile just like her mother too. 

it was 3:00 and it was time for me to pick her up from her first day of primary school.

When i arrived at the school she was a waiting out the from with her little school bag on, her school dress on and her hair in plates

"DADDY!" She yelled as i pulled up, i opened the door and put out my arms,

"Did you have fun beautiful?" I asked giving her a hug

"I had so much fun daddy! i cant wait to go back tomorrow" i ruffled up her hair before putting her in the back seat and doing up her seat belt, 

"so what did you lear today?" I asked as i started the engine of the car

"I learnt how to spell my name" I smiled

"how do you spell it? can you teach me?" i asked with a smile

"H. O. P. E. HOPE" She said with confidence

"WELL DONE!" I said as we pulled up the driveway. we both ran inside,

"daddy?" she asked walking over to me,

"hope?" i replied lifting her off of the floor and placing her on the counter so that i didnt have to look down on her, 

"today at school everyone was talking about their mummys" i knew where this was going, and i wasnt looking foward to telling her that her mother had passed away

"whos my mummy?" she said with innocent eyes, i poured her a glass of strawberry milk with a straw in it before going on. 

"your mummy was an incredible woman, she was beautiful, powerful, caring" i began explaining which took a long time, after i had finished hope looked up at me.

"im happy that i have you daddy but i really wish i knew mummy" I gave her a hug

"you will meet her, one day" she gave me a kiss. she was the sweetest little girl i had ever met and i couldnt wait to watch her grow up.
