It had been an hour since we called Skye, and we were getting ready to go to the beach. Rydel and I were in the kitchen wearing bikini's under t-shirts and baggy shorts. We were waiting for the guys to hurry up while we packed a picnic. Some bread, chocolate, strawberries, and marshmallows. Jake had already received a couple texts and was in a better mood. Juliet was currently on the phone with Jace, him listing all the rules for when he's gone in two days, and her nodding and saying yes carelessly.

"We're going to the beach, we're going to the beach, we're going to the beach," Riker sang carelessly downstairs.

"ROSS AND ROCKY HURRY UP BEFORE I LEAVE WITHOUT YOU!" Rydel yelled down the hallway.

Rocky came out with his hands up in surrender, followed by Ross who was in the same position.

"Hey Joooordy!" Riker greeted, swinging his arm around my neck, and the other in the marshmallow bag.

"Nu-uh, those are for later!" I twisted out of his trap, taking the bag with me.

"Why not?" Riker pouted.

"Because I said so." I leaned forward on one foot, than whipped my sloppy pony tail hair in his face.

After escaping him, I realized Jules was still on the phone. Groaning, I dragged myself over to a dying Juliet and grabbed the phone from her blank eyes and monotoned yes, "Jace! Your killing her!"

"I'm just listing important things like, load the dishes left to right!" Jace protested. He was off filming The Walking Dead, and was probably between scenes.

"Jace. She's eleven. And the go right to left." I corrected.

"Whatever, can I talk to Jake?" He asked.

"Nope!" I yelled into the phone and hung up, just as the w in wait escaped from his lips.

Jake, as if on que, walked slow and lazily downstairs. "I don't feel well. . ." He complained.

"We can't leave you alone!" Rocky walked in the middle of the room and patted my head.

Jake coughed, "I really don't feel well."

"Jake we can't just drop our b-" I was cut off from my own sentence.

"I'm almost twelve." Jake protested.

"Okay. . . but don't try anything funny on me mister." I gave in.

Jules coughed and I noticed she had the same demeanor Jake had. She coughed, "I think I'm sick."

"Fine!" I threw my hands up in the air in defeat, "Stay home with Jake. Don't let him near anything, you know, deadly." I instructed. So both twins were staying home. But know I feel better that suicidal Jake wasn't home alone.

"In that case, I think we're actually ready!" Rydel astonished.

"Yeah! Let's go!" Ross ran outside. Rydel followed him on crutches, and then Riker walked closely behind her. But I caught Rocky. "What?" He questioned why I stopped him. I put my hands up to about the height of his shoulders, asking for a ride. Thankfully, he got the message. "Am I like your personal ride now?" He asked, sarcastically.

"Yup." I laughed.

"Wha- Fine. I asked for that." Rocky carried me to the mini van and threw me into the back. We drove for about fifteen minutes before I fell asleep.

"JORDY!" Riker yelled at me. I shot up, thinking someone died with the urgency in his voice. My head hit the roof of the car, and Riker started laughing.

"Are we there yet?" I groaned.

"No, were still about fifteen minutes away," He smirked.

"Then why?" I said with a twinge of anger in my voice.

He shrugged. "'Cause I can."

I groaned again and laid back into my seat, throwing my towel over my face. The chlorine scent enveloping me, I swayed over, almost falling asleep again. And I would have, if Riker hadn't screamed into my ear.

"JORDY YOUR FALLING ASLEEP AGAIN!" He yelled.

"That's the point." I ignored him and didn't move. He ripped the towel away from my face, the bright light blinding me and the salty smell making it impossible to sleep.

"Finally we're here!" Ross opened the door before the car was even parked and ran out. Rocky pushed Ross out so he stumbled into the small parking lot. Rocky ran past him to and off the whole lot, and straight into the water. He threw off his shirt and dropped his towel midway, not really caring where it landed. Riker ran to go get Rocky's stuff, while Rydel got her crutches. I followed to help Rydel. Grabbing the rest of the stuff from the trunk, I ran to catch up to Rydel, who was half way down the beach.

"Where are we going? And are we close?" I complained.

"All in time child, all in good time." She said mysteriously. I pestered her with lots more questions but that's all I got. By the time I asked my final question, we arrived at a small edge of the beach covered by a boulder sized rock pile with a small space inside that could have passed for a cave. "Wow." I whispered in awe. It was a very rural area with only three other people here. Two blondes and a brunette running to us, that was Rocky, Riker, and Ross.

Thankfully, we had finished laying down five towels positioned around a small hole that was to be used as a fire pit, but a cooler was placed in there for now. Right before the figures collided, I snapped a picture.

"Delly!" Ross ran up to her.

"What?" She complained at her brothers annoyance.

"I'm hungry."

"Of course you are," Rydel rolled her eyes.

"Feed me." Ross plopped onto a towel and ripped open  a cooler. He tore through it like, like a hungry Ross. They're very dangerous.

Rocky was snickering in the background and looking at me funny. Almost thro-

Sand. In. My. Mouth. "Riker!" I snapped.

We were on the ground rolling around, not really doing anything in particular. He had his arms locked around my waist, and he couldn't stop laughing for long enough to let me go.

"Riker Anthony Lynch!" Rydel kicked Riker. He stopped laughing and stood up, rolling his eyes and mouthing the words 'well.' I couldn't help but laugh at their argument.

Seeing my chance and broke free, "Thank you!" I squeezed Rydel.

"Your welcome." She pulled away. "I think I forgot something in the car. Come with?" Rydel walked to the edge of the shaded area of the cave. She turned around and pleaded me with her eyes so I couldn't help but say yes.

"Sure?" I questioned. Why couldn't she just go by herself?

We walked in the sand for a little bit before we got out of ear shot. Only then, did she speak. Rydel took a deep breath and said it. "Riker likes you."
