Chapter Twenty Nine: The Vampires, The Werewolves, and The Clearing.

Chapter twenty nine

We all agreed some time around midnight that when morning broke the clouds of dawn, we would go to my father's and save him and my brother before Aro or any other of the Voltori can get to him. I have to save, him, I can't lose another parent, two are already down the drain! As soon a dawn broke the night sky and the light was a ribbon on the foggy eastern horizon, we loaded into the car a drove, and by we I mean the Cullen's, the Denali, and I. The trees whipped and whirled by as Emmet sped forth, Rose in the passenger seat, then Alice and Jasper in the seat next to me. We sat in Emmet's off road jeep that was all black with blue accents, he said when I had first moved in that he was disappointed his first off road jeep didn't manage to survive some of his daredevil acts, but Rose claimed that it was all him trying to lift it with one hand and spin it on his finger, apparently the back half had a rather tedious collision when he tried to switch hands, but the rock it collied with got the worse end of the deal. Bella, Edward, Ness, and Jake are all in Bella's car, which she refused adamantly according to Jasper, Bella's car was a black car that had brown leather interior, and chrome for all that was not black. Esme, Carlisle, Cody, Eleazar, and Carmen where piled in Esme's vintage Ford Fusion, and then Kate, Tanya, and Garret where in an old silver Volvo that Edward claimed to be his first car in Forks when he came originally.

Before I was completely ready, emotionally speaking, we where parked in front of my father and brother's house, and Jasper and Alice gave me a sincere look. Just as that happened- Alice zoned and she was still, a look that had become all to familiar in the last twenty four hours crossed her face, and her voice came distant. "Their plans... they keep changing them... they are coming sooner... when the first leaf falls in the autumn air- no last leaf- wait first frost- no harvest- no wait...." She shook her head and clutched it. "They need to make up their damn minds, I can't keep this headache up, I know they have the processing power, this isn't Aro's first invasion!" She angrily said and my eyes rested on Rose's concerned face, and when her eyes met mine, she gave me a serious look.

"But it will certainly be his last." She said, earning a slightly shocked expression from Emmet in the driver's seat. "Look Clara, you where like the rest if us, excluding Bella, you didn't plan on this happening, it just did, and I know how that can feel, but Aro needs to stop, we have hardly had a hundred years of peace." Rose continued as Emmet watched her give me this inspiring speach. "I know what it's like to lose someone you love, we all do, and if there is one thing that is for sure, we will do anything to make sure you don't lose your father or your brother. Clara-your family now, we do anything for family, though you would have seen that." She said, giving a perfect half smile and then climbing out of the car.

My dad came out of the little house, followed by Kalem, and I ran froward and hugged them both. We explained all that happened, and our suspicion of Aro coming after them next, and my father showed even more fatherly actions than my fake dad did, but I guess that was to be expected. "I won't let Aro get near this house sis, I promise." Kalem said hugging me. "If he does I will bite his head off for even touching you." That last comment forced a laugh out of me and I shook my head, rolling my eyes and sighing.

"Your violent as ever, I swear to it." I said with a small chuckle. "We need to make a battle stratagy." I said, looking back at the Cullens and Denalis.

That was exactly what intriged Emmet and a devious smile spread across his face. "I've been waiting over a hundred years to have this oppertunity." He said, cracking his knuckels and looking over to Jasper, they both seemed to share the same thought, and Edward over heard it, becasue the next action he did was pinch the bridge of his nose. "Battle training." Jasper and Emmet said at the same time.

"Im a little scared for this..." I admitted, looking at Bella and Edward, they just nodded and then looked to Jake who sighed.

"I'll contact Seth, see if he would be willing, he has kids now though so I'm not sure..." Jake said, and I was left wondering who on earth was Seth. "It's his hundred and thirteenth birthday in a couple days, I'm just suprised he coninued to change after..." Jakes voice trailed off and Renesmee set her hand on his back with understanding eyes, and they walked out of the house and Cody watched them leave with concerned eyes. All the Cullens looked sad, and the Denalis looked only slightly sad, but everyone except Kalem, my father, and I looked upset and that they knew why this mystery man Seth would stop shifting and go back to being mortal for.

***Time change***

We all stood in a clearing somewhere in the woods, I wasn't sure where, but it was in the shape of a perfect circle, like someone went blazzing through and shaped the area by force, but nature took back the destruction and made it all look natrual and beautiful. The only object that broke the perfect circle was a fallen tree that we used as a bench of sorts. Carlisle said we where waiting on the Clearwatr's and the LaPush pack, but I had no idea what was going on. Then I saw a huge amount of men, and a few women, walk forward from the tree line. Jake went running forward yelling, "Quil! Seth! Embry!" He hugged a couple of the men that where much liike him, tan with dark hair.

"Jake! You gonna forget me!?" Another voice came in, sounding slightly offended. Another male came forward with his arms outstreached, and Jake laughed and hugged him.

"How could I forget you Jared, and Paul, and dear god! Collin! Brady!" He hugged a couple more and I couldn't help but smile. After the introduction to the pack and all the catching up, the training becgan. Jasper smiled as Bella fought Edward, who was signifagnatly faster, and was quick to win. Then it was my turn to fight, and since I was new to the fighting, they paired me with Jasper, I guess they just wanted to see how good I was, and I couldn't help but smile as I fought. They couldn't anticpate my moves, but thanks to my future seeing I saw every move Jasper was about to make before he made it, and Made a counter move that would stop it.

I summonded gusts of wind to knock him back, made the grass wrapp around the foot he would try and kick me with and yank it back down, I even at one point I went all earth bender and made a mound of rock shoot up between us just as Jasper punched forward. I let out a muscial laugh and got rid of the rock, then soon to pull out a couple years of gymnastics to get him, triumphantly throwing my fist in the air, as all the spectators laughed and Jasper shook his head. "You are truely something else Clara." He said as I helped him up and let the next group fight. The fights lasted the rest of the day and I couldn't help but smile as it all went on. Emmet had told me after teh fight that he had a newfound respect for me and told me to remind him to never get on my bad side. Jasper continued to say that I had potential and that my power was still recovering from the seven years if being masked an hidden. I know now better than I knew before that Aro better watch out, becasue his ass is mine.
