Chapter 21

Three Months Later

Bey POV

I sip on my coffee as I think about my life the past few months. I have had the addition of two wonderful friends, a sister in Michaela, another mother figure, a child I love like a daughter in Nahla, and last but not least a wonderful boyfriend. Shawn and I have been together for three amazing months, it feels so much longer though. Being with him is just so amazing, just being in his presence makes me happy and when I'm not around him I just yearn to be with him. I sound like I'm in love and just maybe I am.

We still haven't had sex yet but after all the teasing that has been going on the past couple of weeks I am more than ready.

"What you in here thinking about?" My train of thought is interrupted by Gabby walking into the lounge.

"Nothing just thinking about my life the past couple of months"

"So then your thinking about Shawnyyyy huh?" She says in a mocking tone. I laugh with a big ass grin on my face.

See, you could just say his name and I bust out smiling.

"Oh my god your like a teenager" Gabby says with a chuckle in reference to me smiling so hard.

I laugh. "I can't help it" I say with a whine. She laughs while sitting down at the table with me. "Can I ask you a question though?"

"Mmm"

"How did you go about it when you and Trevor first you know....... did it?"

"Are you thinking about giving it up Bey?" She asks. I roll my eyes and nod my head. "Yasssss bitch, it's about damn time you knock them cobwebs off your cookie" she exclaims.

I bust out laughing. "Gabby come on I'm serious"

"Me too girl" she says while giggling. "Well me and Trevor first time wasn't really romantic we just sort of did it one night. But something you could do is cook him a nice dinner and then head to the bedroom for desert" she yells while doing a little dance.

I playfully roll my eyes at her extraness. "What about Nahla?"

"Just find somebody to watch her" she says with a shrug of her shoulders.

Thinking about it Nahla could go spend the night at Tyra's house with Ty and she could play with her cousin. "That actually is a good idea. Thanks boo" I say while heading to put my cup in the sink.

"You welcome. Oh and Bey let me know how it goes" she says with while winking her eye. I laugh while walking out.

All day I couldn't help but think about tonight. I let Tyra know about my plans and she happily agreed to keeping Nahla. With it being Friday there was no problem with her spending the night. After the parents picked up their kids I was headed out the door. I stopped by my house to grab some things and stopped at the store before heading to Shawn's household.

After unlocking the door with my key, I headed to the kitchen. Looking at my phone I see that it is 4:30 and Shawn usually got home around 7. I started on making dinner, once everything was prepared and in the oven cooking I went upstairs to Shawn's bedroom to set up everything.
