It is well known
By many of my family
I am one embittered soul
It is hard to but I know that
Forgiving is the way to fill in this hole
God has been talking; and I've been failing
To forgive you for all
The pain you caused me
Your words to this very day; still haunts
Now every night when you come to mind
And the voices echoes in my hole
"Coward; and manipulator;
You broke his very soul"
I repeat this late nite forgiveness chant
"I choose to love him even tho
He's no longer in my life
I forgive him. He is only human, so
Must remember; God loves him as well as me.
I release him to God; I let him go.
I forgive him for what he's done and said."
So I'll forgive you until slumber takes its toll...
