I do these things
Because I'm mad at the Lord
I do these things
Because I'm mad at the world
I do these things
Because my parents wouldn't agree
I do these things
To set me free
I do these things
Why do I do them?
I do these things
And I'm caught right in them
I do these things
They've become my chains
I do these things
Because my heart is in pain
I do the things
That I despise doin'
I do the things
That cage me in my sin
I do the things
That I thought were my freedom
I do these things
But can I find my freedom?
I do all of this
And my soul solemnly sings
I do all of this
I just wanna stop doing these things
I do these things
And wonder why
I do these things
And then another lie!
Oh Lord, forgive me of all these things
