You've spoken
I've ignored
Names inside my
Head saying
"forgive them, child"
Through tumblr posts
Through the shame
On my hands
Through the voice
Of my own daddy
And now through a call
The shepherd's voice
"Begin the journey to forgive!"
My heart sank
My pride keeps me glued
To my seat
Afraid to say I hear You
And so I do
Fearfully coming to You
I hear You and I will!
I will write down the names
I will write the hurts
I will acknowledge and cut open wounds
Then I will cry "I forgive you!"
Seventy times seven forgiven
So I will seventy times seven forgive
On this journey to forgiveness
