What if I Dared?

Tell me now, what it would be like
What would I be like if I believed?
Tell me how t'would I walk if I dared
How t'would it be if I dared to believe?
If my walk backed up my words?
If my talk was followed by my feet?
If my feet and hands had heart
And my heart had the courage of lions?
How would it look if from a lamb's mouth
The roars of the lions and the screams of eagles came forth?
Who would I be if I dared to believe
That this could be me?

And what if I dared to believe
And to live like I knew I am loved?
Would my life be a radical
Chapter of the greatest epic to be told?
A little part of His Story
That is all I am; a word in a poem
That is written in the palm of His hands
And yet he has chosen to love me
With all my doubts and worries and fears
Maybe if I dared to believe it
I could be freed from all my chains
Weighing me down, what if I dared
Or dare I be confident at all?

But that the world may know that I love the Father,
And as the Father gave Me commandment, so I do.
Arise, let us go from here
From your grief, My Child
From your doubt and fears
Let us go from the shadows that
Your sins surround you in
Let us go, My Darling
I will bring you out of your shame
I will wash your tears away!
You are mine and I never left!
Have faith and believe;
Please just believe in Me

Dare I believe that in Him
I truly can heed His calls
Dare I believe that through Him
I am made pure and free and strong
Dare I walk bravely in the warzone
With all of His battlegear on?
Confidently trusting His power
That would make me to be His radical

A warrior Princess, you are
My child, O daughter of Zion
Face everything and rise in my name
For greater things can be done if you believe
Stand tall and strong my dear in my name
Though, weak alone, you are
I am made strong in that weakness

Dare I believe?
Oh yes I believe
I believe in You
Help me in my unbelief
So I may believe
So I believe in You...
