Chapter 15- History
Victoria:
It’s finally Wednesday again! After school, I left to meet Avery and Erica for lunch. We got our food and sat down to chat.
“So, it’s already the third week of school. We don’t have all our classes together.” Erica said with a smile.
I eyed her suspiciously, “What’s your point?”
She laughed, “My point is, who are you close with other than us?”
I thought about it and decided to tell about Sophie, who was also part of B5.
-Flashback (A week ago)-
It was Physics lesson and Ms Evans announced to the class, “Class, I know it’s only the second week of school but I’m conducting a spot test about our latest chapter.”
Great, a test on the second week of school. Oh well, I guess this should be okay. Physics hasn’t been much of a problem to me in middle school. I’m sure this test would be a breeze.
Ms Evans gave out the test papers and I stared at the first question. What the fuck is this?
“Oh yes, this test will be counted into the semester. You cannot afford to fail this test as this chapter is very simple.” Ms Evans added.
Simple? This chapter is simple? I take back all I’ve said about this test being a breeze. I have no idea how to do the first question. I started to panic. I cannot go to summer school. I looked my right. Wow this girl beside me has already done to question ten and I have not even begun. I tried to peek at her answers. She caught me.
She smirked and signaled with her fingers “4”. I mouthed a ‘thank you’ and shaded option 4. For the rest of the test, I attempted the questions I knew and signaled for help for the questions I don’t know.
After the test, I decided to thank her again for her help.
“Hey, thanks again!” I beamed.
“A piece of advice, review your work on a day-to-day basis. Thanks to me, you’ll be able to achieve a higher mark than you should have.” She smiled.
Why does this girl speak so differently? Hmmm….
“You mean I’m going to ace this test?” I asked in excitement.
“Doubtless.” She said affirmatively.
“I’m Victoria.” I introduced myself as I put my hand out for a handshake.
