"Louis? What? Is this real? Am I - am I hallucinating?" I questioned, looking around me and blinking rapidly. He couldn't be here, of course he couldn't.

"No, angel, you're not." He said softly, stepping towards me and smiling sweetly.

"But how?" He shook his head and reached his hand out, grabbing mine and pulling me towards him.

"It doesn't matter how or why or when, what matters is that I'm here and I've missed you more than anything in the world." I felt my eyes watering already and sniffled slightly,

"I've missed you too, but you can't be here because teachers will see you and you'll get sent away and I do-" he leant forward and pressed a kiss to my lips to silence me,

"Fück what the teachers think okay? I'm here for you only." I smiled weakly at him before taking him into my arms and clutching him tightly.

"You don't know how bad I've wanted to see you Harry," the way my name rolled off his tongue exploded butterflies into my stomach,

"I didn't think you were coming, Liam said you'd changed your mind." He ran his hands up and down my back,

"It was all part of the surprise boo, I know I'm definitely not supposed to be here but I wanted you to know that I'm not giving up on us anymore. I'm not your teacher and you're not my student so what we have is real and will continue to stay that way, we can be happy and give this whole thing another go if you still want it." A few happy tears fell from my eyes and as I pulled away, Louis wiped them with his thumb.

"Of course it's what I want Lou, I've wanted it since the day they threw you out of the school but I was so scared to contact you just in case you were arrested or something. Then I saw your twitcam with that Mikey guy and I thought you'd moved on," he slipped the rose into my hand before placing both of his hands on either side of my face,

"Mikey is my best friend, he's nothing compared to you though. I promise you. The whole time I was with him I was moping around hoping for you to come back, because nobody can replace you love, nobody." He cupped my face and kissed me again, this time with a little more love and meaning.

"So what now? Are you coming inside or?" I questioned, looking behind me at the lift. He released me and shook his head, burying his hands in his pockets.

"I can't, I'd love to but your headteacher would probably call the police on me. I'm going to my apartment and I will wait there for you, if you decide that after you've finished up here you want to join me, my door will be open. If not, I'll call you tomorrow morning." I shook my head at him, this time feeling desperate and panicky.

"This feels like another goodbye again Lou, I don't want you to leave." He shushed me and brushed my hair out of my face,

"Hey, this isn't a goodbye, it's simply a see you soon." I pouted at him before hugging him tightly again,

"I'm not staying the whole night here, I'll do the whole prom king and queen thing then I'll come to yours, please wait for me." I said sadly,

"You've waited all this time for me love, I'm sure I can wait a few hours for you." I thanked him and shared a few last kisses with him before stepping back,

"I won't be long Lou," he smiled at me,

"Take your time, I'll always be here."

-

Around an hour later I'd managed to get back into prom, explain what had happened to Niall and Liam, take a bunch of photobooth selfies and experience Zayn and his girl winning prom king and queen, which was no surprise.

I dragged myself away from the dance floor, slowly pulling Niall along with me.

"I'm leaving now to go to Lou, if my mum calls, I'm at yours okay?" He nods, trying to hear me over the loud music.

"I hope everything goes well, I'll see you soon buddy." I thanked him and shared a quick hug with him, waving goodbye and dashing out of the venue and down the stairs. I walked out and found the taxi I had ordered, climbing in and saying a quick 'hello' to the taxi driver.

We remained silent for the majority of the ride, just the sound of the radio playing in the background. We pulled up outside Louis' house so I paid the driver and fixed myself up before walking up to Louis door and knocking on it.

Within seconds the door was pulled open and a soft looking Louis appeared, he was in a pair of joggers and a white vest exposing all of his tattoos and his hair brushed over with a fringe. He smiled warmly at me,

"Hello you, I told you I'd be here." He stepped aside and I entered, thanking him and walking into his cosy living room.

"I laid you out some clothes, just in case you didn't want to stay in your tuxedo - even though you do look very dapper in it." I rolled my eyes at him and thanked him, slipping my shoes off.

"Go and get changed love, I'll make us a drink." I nodded and headed to the bedroom, changing out of my tuxedo into a pair of joggers and a plain white tee. I ruffled my hair slightly before running back down the stairs and into Louis,

"I made you tea," he said, placing my cup on the living room table and taking a seat on the sofa. I sat form next to him and turned to him,

"I think we should talk about things," he sipped his tea and nodded,

"Of course love, what's on your mind." I sighed and stretched my arms above my head,

"Just us now, you've come back into my life at such a random time and I don't know what we are anymore, you know? It's been a while." He nodded at me and set his drink down, pulling his feet onto the sofa and sitting cross legged.

"I came back because I couldn't do this without you Harry, I'd tried to keep my distance and watch you move on but it appears neither of us could do that." He laughed,

"I love you so much and the fact that we had to split up tore me apart, I tried to tell myself that our break would be for the best and you'd find somebody who made you happy and I would to but I was so wrong. I just kept looking back at our messages and our pictures and remembering how stupid I was, I just needed you back and I didn't know if you wanted that."

"I definitely wanted that, but I thought you'd moved on and you were happy without me. It felt like I'd just be fighting for no real purpose, I didn't realise you were missing me too." He reached out and pulled me over to him, resting his head on mine.

"Ive missed you since the day I was kicked out of the school, I just didn't want to hurt you any more than I already had. Now we both feel the same way, I've got something important to ask you." I leant up and looked at him with glossy eyes,

"Will you be my boyfriend? Again?" We both laughed at each other and I nodded happily,

"I'd be stupid not to be."
