Awkward

Your POV:

"I'm sorry about Hope." I said. "I didn't know she'd freak out."

Flashback

"Morning." I said sitting at the table. Kelley sipped her coffee and looked away. "Why's everyone awkward?"

"Hey." Morgan sat next to me. "Sup Kel."

"Nothing much." Kelley said taking yet another sip.

"KO slow down on the coffee." I laughed.

Hope walked into the kitchen and looked at Morgan. "Morgan? You stayed over?"

"Yeah. I hope you don't mind."

"Not at all." Hope smiled. "It's nice your here. Y/N wasn't alone last night."

I choked on air.

"You alright there?" Kelley asked.

"Perfect. Hey how was your date last night?"

"Terrible." Kelley said. "That's why I stayed over."

I glared at her.

"So are you and Morgan like a thing?" Kelley asked. "Cause it looked like it last night."

"What?"

"All snuggled up." Kelley continued. "Looking like a real couple."

"Morgan. Can I talk to you." Hope said. They left the room.

"This is your fault." I said to Kelley.

"How is it my fault? You're the one who was cozying up to my teammate."

"We were watching soccer and fell asleep! Is it a crime to fall asleep? And let's remember who you're dating." I glared at her.

"Y/N!" Hope called me. Morgan walked back in.

I walked to Hope.

"Are you and Morgan together?"

"No."

"Don't lie to me."

"I'm not! She's my friend Hope! We fell asleep on the couch. I'm sorry we were tired!"

"I don't want you to get into a relationship."

"What are you gonna do when I go to college and not up your ass anymore?" I looked at her. "I'm gonna end up in a relationship at some point. Morgan's my friend. Relax."

She nodded. "Okay."

I walked back into the room. "I gotta go." Morgan said.

"I'll walk you." I said walking out with her.

*End Flashback*

"It's not like anything happened." Morgan laughed. "We watching some soccer then fell asleep. Hope just cares about you."

"Yeah I know."

"But I do too." She said. "I'm not gonna let you walk out on me again." She grabbed my hand. "You're too important to me." 

I smiled. "Morgan Brian do you have a crush on me?"

"I guess I do." She laughed. "Since I'm here in Seattle for a while, do you want to go out tonight?"

"Like a date?"

"What else would you call it?"

"Then yes. I'd love too."

We got to her hotel and she walked to the door. I have a date with Morgan Brian. Hmmm.

I started walking home, checking emails. I applied to some colleges and was waiting to hear back. 

A lot of the schools still wanted me to play soccer. 

New text: Hope

Going out with Kelley tonight, maybe you and Morgan can hang out or something?

Yeah I actually already have plans with her.

I texted back. I left out that it was a date. Hope kind of freaked out.

Sorry I disappeared I was kind of upset after the recent terrorist attacks that occurred. I've also been dealing with school I had midterms (only 2 cause I have no classes) and college. I got tests done yesterday for my kidneys. I'm back now so enjoy!
