The Case

Your POV:

We raced to the airport and I got on the earliest flight I could get to Georgia. Kelley said she'd meet me at the airport once I landed.

The flight felt longer than it actually was. My mind was full of so many thoughts.

What happened to Hope? Is she okay?

"Y/N." I heard someone. I saw Kelley waving.

"Kelley." I ran over to her. "What happened? Where's Hope? Is she hurt?"

"Relax." She said. "Hope is fine."

"Than what happened? Why did it seem bad?"

"The case. The domestic violence case. It got brought back up. She's being charged"

"What? Why?"

"I don't know. But Hope went back to Seattle. She told me to get you here and take you to Seattle."

"Is everything gonna be okay?" I asked her.

"Everything is gonna be fine." She said.

"How can you be so sure?"

"I just know." She smiled. We flew to Seattle.

"Where do we go now?"

"To Hope." She said. "She's picking us up."

We walked through the airport and finally spotted the talented goalkeeper.. "HOPE!" I yelled.

She looked up.

I ran to her and wrapped my arms around her. "I'm sorry!" I said. "I don't hate you I was just mad I didn't mean it."

"It's okay." She said. "I get it. Trust me I do. I still love you."

"What's going on with the case?" I asked her stepping back.

"I don't even know." She sighed. "It's a lot to process."

"What happens now?"

"We have to wait. Now enough about me. How were your birth parents."

I looked at her. "My birth mom was a total asshole but I have a brother who's really nice."

"And your dad?"

"He was nice but I didn't meet him. He died I guess." I shrugged. Kelley walked up to us.

"Hope." She said walking to her and hugging her.

"Hey Kel."

I smirked.

"Wipe that smirk off your face you little shit." Kelley said. I put my hands up and backed away.

"So what's going on?" Kelley asked. "What are they saying?"

"Right now nothing." She said. "I'm facing charges again. Just need to wait."

"You can fight this though right?" I said.

"They're gonna try." Kelley said putting her hand on my shoulder. "And we're gonna stay together. No matter what."

"We're a family." Hope smiled.

"Ohana means family." Kelley started.

"Kel."

"Sorry."

I laughed at them. "OTP." I mumbled.

Hope rolled her eyes and Kelley glared at me.

"Okay fine I won't support you guys then." I pushed Kelley away. "Back away from Hope." I growled.

Hope laughed. "Alright easy killer."

No one's POV:

Someone watched them from a distance. They chuckled. "Killer huh? I'll give you killer." They walked into the shadows as the small family left the airport.
