Your POV:

So got a suitcase and I packed up my clothes. I didn't really have much. I had all my soccer gear as well.

"Wait." I said to my social worker. "What about the center?"

"I already talked to them. You are still a student there. They said to call when its almost college time and they'll write letters."

"And the team?"

"I can get you on a team in Seattle." Hope smiling. "We'll take care of it." She put her arm around my shoulders.

I said bye to everyone and we left.

"So we're still doing our victory tour so you'll be with us on the road for a while." She said.

"That's fine." I smiled. "Thank you for giving me a chance. I won't disappoint you."

"You're young, you're gonna make mistakes. It's my job as an adult to help you learn from them. So what you get in trouble? You're a teenager."

I looked away. She doesn't know what they meant by me getting in trouble.

We met with the team at the hotel they were staying at. "What's Y/N doing here?" Carli asked.

"I adopted her." Hope smiled. "Met my new daughter I guess."

I waved. "Hello again." I smiled.

Sydney walked over and hugged me. "Welcome to the family. I'm your aunt Sydney."

I laughed. "Okay."

We all hung out for a while.

"So when's your next game?" Christen asked.

"Tonight." I said.

"Oh." Whitney said. "Well we are prepared for this."

I went to my room and grabbed my soccer stuff. I sat on my bed in Hope's hotel room and just looked at the floor.

"What's going on in your mind?" Hope asked coming into my room.

"2 hours ago no one wanted me in their family. Now I have a family." I looked up at her. "Why did you adopt me?"

"Cause everyone deserves a chance. You're angry at the world, at your birth parents and I understand that. I know I can't give you that family aspect because 1. I'm gonna be on the road a lot and 2. I've only known you for a day." She smiled

I laughed.

"We're gonna have fun together. We're gonna be a family. I'm willing to try if you are?"

"Let's do it." I smiled. She hugged me.

"Now let's go watch you kick ass on the field!" She got up. "Just like your mama!"

"I'm a forward! Not a goalkeeper!"

"KICK ASS LIKE YOUR AUNT SYD!" I heard Sydney yell.

"NO AUNT KEL IS BETTER!"

"Are they always like that?" I asked.

"You should see them when the kids are with us." She said.

We all got in the cars and went to the stadium for my game.
