Pagkatapos kong basahin ang "Nagpatukso", I'm so curious on what will happen to Vane. That's why I'm glad to know that the next book is still about him. "Nagparaya" is somehow parallel with "Nagpatukso" but you can still read it as a stand alone story.
Si Marie Solei or Maris ay isang tahimik at mahiyaing dalaga. Habang si Eddard Vane ay isang gwapo at mayamang binata. Their love story started out very young since it happen when they were still in high school.
Since Maris and Eddard were both still young, they still don't know how to handle things. What I like about Maris is, even at the young age, alam nya ang mga priorities nya unlike Eddard who's immature at masyadong padalos-dalos. Ibang-ibang Eddard Vane ang makikilala natin sa story na to, since it happened way back before "Nagpatukso". And to be honest I fell in love with him on the first half of the story because he's charming and adorable but then everything changed after they separate ways so I came back on hating him. That's why, I end up a love and hate relationship with Vane.
Do first love last? Yan lagi ang naiisip ko kapag nakakabasa ako ng mga story about young love. And somehow, nagkakaroon ako ng doubt if the two lead characters would be together up until the end of the story. Based on experience first love didn't work. There's a very small percentage of people who ended up with their first love.
Will Maris and Vane still end up together after all the heartaches and being separated for a long time?
