Some people survive in chaos and that is how they grow, while some people thrive in chaos because that is all they know.

Corbin pov…

It’s been a week maybe and everyone went back to London.

Blyana and I went to New York. I just need her in my sight. She was gone for a year and I’m still getting used to her being here.

“I promise I’ll be back by tonight.” she pecked my lips and I sighed. “Fine, but I’ll text you. I’ll pick you up.” she nodded and kissed me making me kiss her back. I missed these lips so much.

No, I missed every single thing about her.

“Corbin?” she mumbled against my lips. “Corbin, we can’t do this now.” I pulled her closer to me and my lips travelled to her neck. “Yes we can.” I mumbled. She grabbed my face and made me look at her.

“We can’t. I have a lot of shit to do.” she pecked my lips again and I sighed. “I’ll see you tonight.” I nodded and she walked out of the house.

I miss her already.

Blyana pov…

I got out of my car to see Miles smiling at me.

“Welcome back, Miss Clarke.” he said and I nodded back with a smile. “I guess it’s good to be back.” I hummed and entered the building. “All the assassins are in the theatre hall.” I nodded and made my way there.

I actually missed this place and working here.

I walked in to see them all either talking, shouting or just messing around.

I walked down the steps in the middle and they all stopped to look at me. They stood up and I stood on the stage. A member put a microphone on my blazer and I thanked her.

“As you guys can see, I am back. I want to thank you all for helping me escape that place. I was indeed kidnapped for a whole year which seems like a joke but isn’t. Again thank you.” I smiled and they all clapped.

I picked up the small remote on the stand in front of me and pressed a button.

“First, the war still isn’t over.” I turned around slightly and the Felicity and Felix faces popped up.

“These two here are Felicity and Felix Rumford.” I finally did some digging and found Darren’s surname.

“They are the children of Darren himself. No one ever knew because their mother left with them without him knowing. They are going to do anything in their power to take this Empire and rule it. They will kill me then get rid of any of you who don't fit them.”

They all started looking around and talking to each other.

“So, let’s keep our eyes open and clean for them. Don’t fall for a stupid trap that will get you dead.” They all nodded and I switched to the next slide.

“We only have four diamond assassins, right?” Everyone nodded and hummed. “Well, I will be making that five. Gordon, please come up to the stage.” A tray was put in front of me and it was a silver gun and knife made by me for the diamond assassins.

Platinum and Gold get the same as well.

Everyone clapped for him as he stood up and walked to the stage.

“You helped me while you were undercover. The fact that you weren’t sent but you suggested on coming on a mission like this shows your bravery. When I told you to leave you ignored me and suggested I should follow you to safety. Again, this showed how determined and strong minded you are. Thank you for what you have done.”

I picked up the knife and gun.

“You have officially become a Diamond assassin. Here is your knife and gun.” I passed it to him and he smiled, taking them. Everyone clapped and cheered for him.

I really am thankful for him.

All of them to be honest.

Time skip…

There was a knock on the door, “Come in!” I continue the transfer of Gordon on my laptop. “Nice to see you alive, Miss Clarke.” I looked up and it was Arzachel, Asher and Naya. “It’s nice to be back.” I smiled.

“Seriously though, a year?” Asher sat down in the middle while the others sat on each side of him. “It would have been less if I wasn’t caught sneaking around.” I shrugged. “Sneaking around? You're funny.” Naya shook her head.

“Darren’s a bitch.” I looked at Arzachel and he looked annoyed.

“He never trusted us, did he?” He looked at Asher and Naya. “He had kids, in fact twins and never told us.” he rolled his eyes. “I think maybe it was because he thought he would be giving them the empire, so he kept them a secret.” Asher said.

Naya laughed, “Oh please, he told us everything about Blyana. He simply just didn’t trust you guys.” she shrugged. “You act as if you were never involved in our friend group.” Asher looked at her.

“I was part of the iconic friend group but I wasn’t his friend. I hated the dickhead with passion and he felt the same way for me.” she shrugged.

“I just don’t understand how he could have children.” Arzachel groaned.

I hope they know I’m still here.

“Um, I don’t really care so could you please have your conversation somewhere else.” They looked at me, then stood up walking out. “It’s nice to have you back though.” I looked up and Naya was smiling at me.

“It’s nice to see you again.” she nodded and walked out, closing my door.

It really is nice to be back I guess.
