The saddest thing about betrayal is that it never comes from your enemies.

Blyana pov...

Brayson is asleep now and had his head on my stomach.

Like I said before, she would be angry and think I'm stupid right now but would understand why I don't really hate Brayson as much as the others. Why? I don't fucking know but all I know that he needs help with this drinking problem he has.

I can't sleep and I need fresh air or something.

I slowly move out of his hold and place his head on the pillow. I got out of the bed and looked back to make sure Brayson was still asleep. I walked out of the bedroom and walked through the house.

Still the same as ever, why am I surprised?

I walked into the garden and sat down. This place was the only thing giving me peace when I was here two years ago. It was a beautiful giant garden. The grass was clean and perfectly cut. The bushes were perfectly cut as well with flowers coming out of it.

Reminds me exactly of mum.

My phone rang so I looked at it. It was her.

I picked up the call, "Is it true?" her voice came out as cold but it's her natural voice. "Answer me, Blyana. Is what Phaedra said true?" She raised her voice slightly. "Yes, yes. It's true. I'm in their garden right now." I sighed.

She stayed quiet for a while, "Fine but I will be watching your every move. If they do something to you again, I won't hesitate to go there myself and kill them. I don't care." I knew she would finally understand.

"Who are you talking to, Blayna?" I turned and saw Tobias looking at me. "Is that him?" she asked and I hummed. She cut the call and I turned back, putting my phone back on the floor.

Tobias sat next to me, "Who was on the phone?" He asked. "Friend." I lied. "Adam and Scott?" I looked at him and rolled my eyes.

We were both silent for a while.

"Where is Darren, Blyana?" he asked. "Dead, long dead. I think he died last year, I don't really remember." I shrugged. "What do you mean he's dead?" his eyes widened. "I mean he's no longer lingering on this earth, he's 6 feet under, he's probably burning in hell since God definitely declined his entry." I gave him a fake smile.

"So where have you been all this time? Who have you been with?" he asked, worried. "Don't worry, I was in Glasgow which is why you may hear an accent. I was with some people." I patted his back.

"Who?" he furrowed his eyebrows. "You know them but don't worry." I shrugged. He sighed.

"You're going to school." I looked at him. "I already enrolled you into the same school at Brayson and they gladly took you in. They also hope that you can help Brayson to maybe change his ways."

"So he didn't end up getting a proper education." I scoffed, shaking my head. "No, ever since you left everything went downhill for him." He sighed. "I didn't leave, I was abandoned and taken." I corrected him and stared out into the garden.

I felt his eyes on me, "I'm sorry, Yana. I really am." He kissed my forehead and stood up, walking away. I sighed and checked the time on my phone. It was around 6 am.

Time skip...

I walked out of my bedroom all dressed and I'm even shocked that my old clothes still fit me. I mean, I haven't lost nor gained any weight since I've been gone so maybe that's why. I heard a door open so I looked up to see Brayson coming out of his room.
