He is my father, but I don't know him...

Corbin pov...

We walked into the Aelin empire building and it's fucking huge.

It's probably 100 floors.

I'm still shocked that this empire exists and the American mafia aren't even fazed by it. I guess they simply just don't care but that's not my business.

"Names?" a man asked, looking up. "Richard Hilton and my son Corbin Hilton." Dad said and the man looked back at a list on a clipboard. He looked at a woman behind him and nodded at her.

"Please, follow me." We followed her and entered an elevator. We reached the 50th floor and the door opened. She then escorted us to this giant like theatre room. She opened the door and we thanked her.

We walked in and most of the mafia were already here.

We saw the Bennett family so we sat behind them.

"Nice to see you again, Tobias." Dad said and he turned around. "Ah, Richard." he stood up and they did their bro hug or whatever. I just sat there minding my own business but how come Brayson and Blyana aren't here.

They're part of the mafia aren't they?

"Where are your twins?" Dad asked, sitting down. The whole family tensed up.

Why?

"They had to travel but they'll be back soon. Maybe for results day." he gave a weak smile and turned back around. Dad looked at me and shrugged but I'm confused. I know the twins told me that they will be gone for a while but I thought they would be here.

The lights dimmed a bit and everyone's focus moved to the stage.

A man walked onto the stage.

"Welcome, everyone. My name is Miles. I hope you're all having a fine afternoon and had a safe flight. As you all know, the founding ruler of the Aelin empire died. In fact, he died almost 3 years ago."

Everyone looked at each other confused and started whispering but I just stared at whatever was in front of me.

"I apologise for telling you all this now but it was his wish. He didn't want anyone to know until the new ruler was found and ready for this position. We had to wait until his will was finally read, to set everything up and bring you all here today."

"I don't understand a thing he is saying." Dad mumbled and I shook my head.

"I know you're all here for one thing and that is to meet our new ruler. Ladies and Gentlemen, Blyana Clarke."

My eyes widened.

"Did I hear right?" Vincent asked.

Blyana pov...

I walked onto the stage.

My heels were the only sound that rang through the whole theatre.

I had a mini microphone on my dress.

I stood in the middle and looked around. My family were looking at me with shock, pure shock while Corbin was smiling at me.

"Good afternoon, everyone. As Miles said, my name is Blyana Clarke and I am the new ruler of the Aelin Empire."

Everyone clapped and I just nodded.

"You may have all probably wanted a man or Darren's son. Darren didn't have any children nor am I his child. He's known me since I was a baby and surprisingly, he trusts me with everything he owns."
