After visiting the greenhouse and admiring the lush greenery inside, the group continued their exploration, making their way toward the coliseum. They marveled at its massive size and wondered why no one had taken better care of it to preserve its grandeur.

"It's massive and really old. Why hasn't anyone tried to keep it pristine?" Royal commented, concerned about its deteriorating condition.

Caroline pondered for a moment, recalling what she had learned from her parents and studies. "From what I know, this place used to be the foundation of the original fortress. It holds a lot of history and significance."

Ace, eager to share his knowledge, led the group to a plaque that explained the coliseum's history. It bore the name "The Wings of Cinder."

"Is that the name of it?" Cloudy questioned, finding it somewhat peculiar compared to the well-known name of the fortress itself.

Caroline nodded. "Yes, 'The Wings of Cinder' is the name given to this coliseum. It's said to have been a place where grand battles and competitions took place, showcasing the strength and skills of the warriors."

As Royal contemplated the name "The Wings of Cinder," a somber feeling washed over him. It seemed to evoke a sense of sadness and emptiness, as if it carried the weight of actions that had been in vain.

He couldn't quite explain why he felt this way, but the name resonated with him, creating a melancholic melody in his heart.

The thought of battles fought, victories won, and losses endured within the coliseum's walls played in his mind. Perhaps it was the realization that despite the grandeur and glory associated with such a place, there were also stories of pain, sacrifice, and dreams shattered but also possibly deeper stories that I failed to recognize.

To those who beseech hardship seek no further.

For this arena shall grant thee the wish that comes with desire.

Formed by the Scourge Bearer 𝐒𝐢𝐦𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬, one of the six heroes of the now forgotten tale.

He trialed through bloody hardship, fought divine beasts, slayed thousands of devilish fiends in a single night all to find a simple place to name home.

Here he laid the groundworks for what is now a place that draws the blood of warriors all to retain and improve their efforts.

The arena pulsates with aura that slows the decay of the coliseum, a testament to the power left behind by the great legend. It is sustained by unknown means with the people who regularly offer their own energy to maintain its strength.

Simon shaped the arena with nothing but his bare hands and the weapon stained with the blood of his enemies.

He endured countless hardships, shedding tears and spilling his own blood, never faltering in his determination. His willpower was unmatched, unbreakable, surpassing even that of the gods.

What makes this place truly remarkable and memorable for its inhabitants is its unique property. Throughout the years, the arena has only grown stronger, and it possesses a special field that drains the energy of those who dare to unleash their powers within its boundaries. Thus, using energy here, except for feeding the barrier that protects it, is a perilous endeavor.

"It basically gives a warning out to the competitors that it's not desired to use aura." Nick summed it up without even caring for the lore.
