As Frankie stepped into the club, a wave of discomfort washed over her, making her contemplate a swift exit.

The bustling atmosphere felt suffocating, a stark reminder of her aversion to large gatherings.

Parties and social events had never been her forte; she had skipped them during her college and high school days.

Her knowledge of drinking was limited until Han introduced her to it during their first night together.

To add to her unease, the party seemed to be dominated by women, a fact she could only attribute to Twinkie's youthful connections and charisma.

The overwhelming atmosphere didn't deter Frankie, who at least felt prepared for the occasion, even if she thought she might have overdone it with her attire.

She had always been one to appreciate looking her best, except on those rare occasions when she found herself in a funk.

Her fashion sense was known to fluctuate wildly, capable of shifting from casual to glamorous in the blink of an eye. Despite her impeccable appearance tonight, she couldn't shake the feeling of being out of place.

Walking through the crowd, she couldn't help but notice the envious glances directed her way.

These women knew who she was, and their disdain was palpable.

Frankie was accustomed to being the centre of attention whenever she entered a room, and it seemed her presence here was no exception.

Kai pivoted away from the bar and caught sight of his closest friend approaching with a grin spread wide across her face.

He couldn't help but chuckle at her unexpected appearance.

"Well, look who decided to grace us with her presence," he quipped, extending his arms for their customary bro-hug.

"Aren't you feeling ancient yet?" she teased, her hand resting on her purse.

He playfully hushed her with a finger to his lips.

"Not a word. In this crowd, I'm forever twenty-one," he joked, as Frankie motioned for a drink at the bar, rolling her eyes at his antics.

After taking a generous sip of her drink, Frankie felt a surge of courage coursing through her veins.

"Where's Kari?" she inquired, glancing around the crowded room.

Kai gestured casually over his shoulder, drawing her attention to his twin sister, who was deeply engrossed in flirtatious banter with another woman.

Their interactions were filled with sweet whispers and tender kisses, and Frankie couldn't help but admire Kari's confidence and charm, silently hoping her brother might pick up a thing or two from her.

"And B?"

Following Kai's nod toward a corner of the room where another woman sat amidst a group of people, looking slightly out of place and in need of rescue.

There was a persistent guy among Han's acquaintances who just wasn't getting the message.

Despite Bianca's clear lack of interest, he continued to hover around her, attempting to win her over with his charm.

Frankie couldn't help but intervene, sidling up to her best friend with a mischievous grin.

"Okay, I'm gonna give you a hint," she whispered conspiratorially to her best friend, "Women love to be saved, dumbass."

Kai tilted his head in confusion.

"What?" he asked.

Frankie leaned in, her voice low yet confident.
