Christmas Day 2017

Tony, Sophia, Kristina, Maria, Rhodey & Happy are all sleeping over at David & Angelina's house. A huge dinner was made & presents were placed under the tree. The house is pretty quiet. The only sounds are of the heat pumping through the vents. Kristina has been tossing & turning all night. Feeling queasy. She gets up slowly then rushes to the bathroom. She drops to her knees in front of the toilet & throws up a bit. She wipes her mouth with toilet paper then flushes then brushes her teeth. She chugs down a glass of water then pulls out the four pregnancy tests she unwrapped & hid under the sink. She sets them down on the counter & stares at them. Tony softly knocks on the door & she opens it.
"Hey."
"Hey, did I wake you?"
"No. You ok", he asks in his sleepy voice.
"Yeah, I'll be out in a minute." He nods & goes back to bed. Kristina closes the door then takes the pregnancy tests. She needs to know for sure. She waits impatiently for the results. Pacing back & forth nervously for three minutes. When she finally checks them, they all have the same results. Pregnant. She chuckles & quietly gasps. Happy tears fall down her cheeks. After years of trying & stressing over getting pregnant, it finally happened. Kristina never thought she'd have another baby especially not when she's turning forty. She opens the bathroom door & sees Tony sleeping in bed. She grabs the tests, turns off the light & gets into bed. She kisses Tony's cheek & gently shakes him to wake him up.

"Tony. Tony, wake up."
"I'm up, I'm up", he replies sleepily. His eyes still closed.
"I need you to sit up."
"Why?"
"I have a surprise & it can't wait."
"Alright." He opens his eyes & sits up then looks at the time as he turns on the bedside lamp.
"Kris, it's 1am."
"I know but I swear you're gonna love it." Tony rubs his eyes while Kristina grabs the tests from the nightstand. She sets them in-between his legs. He picks them all up, shocked at the results.
"I'm pregnant." Tony smiles as he looks at her.
"Baby, holy shit!"
"I know. I'm so happy!" He grabs her & kisses her passionately.
"As am I. We're having another baby. Oh my god", he smiles happily.
"I love you."
"I love you too." His hand touches her belly.
"I told you that night you would get pregnant." She chuckles & smacks his arm away.
"We were having such a cute moment & you had to ruin it with an 'I told you so'."
"Well didn't I?"
"Oh shut up", she says smacking his chest playfully.
"Just admit I was right."
"Like hell I will", she chuckles. He kisses her neck.
"You know you want to admit it. Just say it", he says between kisses.
"Fine.....you were....not wrong." He sits up laughing.
"Such a bitch."

"Yeah & I'm all yours."
"Oh I know. You've been mine since day one."
"Yeah ok", she chuckles.
"Am I wrong?"
"No." He holds her chin between his thumb & index finger.
"God you're so fucking hot."
"Likewise, spitfire." He kisses her passionately then turns off the light. He continues kissing her as they get settled under the sheets. Kristina reaches over to place the tests on the nightstand & Tony pulls her on top. Tony grabs her ass while their kissing intensifies.
"Tony, Tony. Not tonight. Too many people here", she says pulling away.
"We'll make it quick. Come on, you know you wanna fuck me. Don't deny it." Tony places his hand on the base of her skull & kisses her.

Soon after, Tony pulls out & they fall back to sleep. Around 6am, Sophia tip toes into the bedroom & comes over to Tony.

"Sophie bear.."
"It's Christmas, daddy", she says loudly.
"Shh. Mommy's still sleeping."
"Can I wake her up so we can open presents? Grandpa said it was ok", she whispers.
"Yeah, go wake her up." Sophia rushes over to Kristina's side & taps Kristina on the arm.
"Mommy. Mommy, wake up." Kristina grabs Sophia & pulls her onto the bed then smothers her face with kisses. Sophia giggles loudly.
"Mommy!"
"Merry Christmas, munchkin", Kristina says. Tony chuckles.
"You were awake, mommy?"
"I was. I heard you wake up daddy."
"Can we open presents?"
"Yeah. Come on." They all jump out of bed. Kristina puts on her robe & puts the tests in her pocket. Everyone goes downstairs & David is sitting near the tree sipping his coffee. Kristina taps Maria on her shoulder & Maria turns around.
"Can I talk to you in the kitchen?", Kristina whispers.
"Yeah, sure." Kristina & Maria walk into the kitchen.
"Is everything ok?"
"Yeah. There's something I want to tell you", Kristina says digging into the robe pocket. She pulls out the tests & hands them to Maria. Maria looks them over then looks up.
"Holy crap."
"I know right", Kristina chuckles.
"Oh my god. Congratulations." Maria wraps Kristina into a hug.
"Thanks. I'm gonna make an appointment soon with my doctor so I can confirm I am in fact pregnant", Kristina says as they pull away.
"I'm really happy for you guys. When did you take the tests?"

"Earlier this morning around 1am."
"Does Tony know?"
"Yup. Woke him up to tell him the news."
"This is so great! When are you gonna tell your dad & my mom?"
"Later today."
"Come on, girls. Let's go. Present time", Angelina says. Kristina stuffs the tests in the pocket & they walk over to the living room. David passes out the presents. They all open the gifts & show everyone what they got. After the presents have been opened & the garbage has been tossed, Tony & Kristina gather Rhodey, Happy, David & Angelina into the kitchen while Maria plays Barbies with Sophia on the living room floor.
"So what's up? Something's going on", Angelina says. Kristina smiles & pulls out the pregnancy tests.
"I'm pregnant." David snatches them out of her hand & smiles happily as he looks over the results.
"I'm gonna be a grandpa again", he smiles looking up. Kristina nods excitedly.
"Kristina took the tests earlier this morning." David kisses Kristina on her forehead & hugs her tightly.
"I'm so happy." Kristina giggles.
"Me too, daddy."
"Well congratulations are in order", Angelina says hugging Tony.
"Yeah, congrats guys! This is awesome." Kristina & David pull away.
"This calls for coquito(Puerto Rican Eggnog, basically)." David claps his hands & passes everyone a shot of coquito. Kristina has a glass of horchata.
"Congratulations to you both. We're very happy for you & your growing family", Happy states. All of them raise their glasses then drink it.
