Calamity coyote #1

You woke up today with a smile on your face as today was to be your first day at school! You were especially excited as you were going to the best school there was, looniversity! Your parents told you that one of the old teachers was an old friend of the family, a Mr Wile E coyote and that he was going to greet you when you got there introduce you to students.

You arrived at school and looked around at your glorious surroundings. "Woah" You marvelled and clutched your bag closer.

"You're, (y/n), i presume?" You heard a voice say. You looked up to see a coyote standing before you. 

This must be my new teacher  You thought to yourself upon seeing him.

"Yes" You nodded eagerly. "How do you do, Mr Wile E, Sir?" You smiled politely and put your hand out for him to shake.

"Quite well, thank you" He smiled. But then one would be when one is a super genius"

"Uh, what?"

"Oh, nothing. Now allow me to escort you to class where you will be given an assignment ny me"

"Oh boy" You sighed. "This does not sound fun"

You followed him into the class where you were met with a lot of bright and friendly young faces, all smiling at you. You smiled back at them and you hoped they were all as friendly as they looked. 

After class, you made your way to the cafeteria for lunch and you were about to look for a place to sit when you were once again approached by your teacher.

"Young miss, (y/n)! Are you looking for a place to sit?"

"Well yeah" You answered, not really knowing where he was trying to get at.

"Well sit here at this table" He said as he led you to a small table where a small coyote boy was sitting. "This is Calamity coyote, i'm mentoring him, oh how lucky you are to have a mentor like me!" He chuckled and the boy rolled his eyes. "He doesn't say much though...actually he doesn't say anything, but don't let that bother you, Calamity, this is (y/n), the new student. I'll leave you two to eat" He said as he left and you were alone with the boy.

"Calamity, huh? Wow, it must be amazing to be mentored by one of the looney tunes cast!" You sighed dreamily at the thought.

"Yeah, i guess" He answered sulkily and rested his cheek in his paw as he put his elbow on his table.

"Something the matter?" You asked in concern but his mind and gaze was focused on something else. You looked across to see a little beeper at the other table and then you looked back at Calamitys frown.

"Trying to catch a road runner, huh?"

"Trying being the operative word, but i will catch him!"

"Yeah! Of course you will!" You cheered in support.

"Hmmph, no need to patronize me"

"But i wasn't, I'm a huge fan of your mentors work and so it's an honour to meet you" You smiled.

"Really?" He questioned you as support was new to him.

"Of course! You must have so much skill and determination"

He blushed at this remark. "Oh, well, i guess i am" He flushed with pride.

"And real cute too!" You grinned and rested your chin on your knuckles.

All his confidence deflated when you said this. "You...you are aware of your choice of words?"

"Yes!" You giggled.

The bell rang which meant that it was time to go back to class. 

"Be seeing you after class!" You smiled as you left the big blushing mess of a coyote standing there.
